(Live) Chandrayaan-2: India's historic moon mission lost its communication-Mission Failed

LOL look who comes to India’s aid in moment of despair. The main sponsor of Indian space program.

Hours After Chandrayaan-2 Lander Goes Silent, NASA Says 40% Lunar Missions Failed in Last 60 Years

India can smile again. Daddy NASA stands behind you.

That's fake news. Here's NASA's Moon Fact Sheet, and it does NOT say anything about lunar missions.

https://nssdc.gsfc.nasa.gov/planetary/factsheet/moonfact.html

And here's NASA's list of lunar missions. The total is not 109, but is only 85, and it does NOT list successes or failures.

In the race to the moon?
Or do you enjoy being off topic?

You never said it was about the "race to the moon". If it's a race, India had already won it thousands of years ago.

"Indians defecate everywhere. They defecate, mostly, beside the railway tracks. But they also defecate on the beaches; they defecate on the hills; they defecate on the river banks; they defecate on the streets; they never look for cover."
- V.S. Naipaul

So far nobody released the debris photo of the lander? I am sure CSA, ESA and NASA monitor these very closely.

ISRO until now haven't declared the rover or lander is dead?
there are rumours that this mission was failed/ communication lost even soon after the mission was launched...

It's true that India has had help in this mission, for example NASA'S deep space network in tracking network has been used in tracking this space probe 24/7. However, I don't think there is anything wrong in cooperating with other space agencies or groups for space exploration. It's mankind in general that benefits from such an endeavour. So nothing wrong in taking help or cooperating with others in space exploration. In fact this is very much needed and necessary. The U.S, E.U, Russia are all coperating in space research and many other missions.

It looks like you have forgotten US has a law that restrict NASA from cooperating with China plus China exclusive policy in NASA.
There is no nation was able to archive her super power ambition via purchasing everything from outside.
The failure is almost destined because India does not dominate sufficient tech and resource to do so while the last 2 KM path is the hardiest part and it has taken China more than 50 years hard working to archive dreams.
Similar failures happened again and again in India military dream.

Going at bharti troll level I can say,

Driver ko train track nazar aagaya hoga, hagnay gaya hoga.

Roughly translates into, he must've seen a train track, so he might've gone for a shit

Indians are not that modest. It's probably 2030.

2030 superpower India still uses wads of cash, 90s flip phone and bulky laptop. The skyscrapers they are trying to portray in the movie are pretty much already all over China. It's almost as if China today is already what's being portrayed in this movie, plus China is already a cashless society.

Indian also love to point out the number of failures Russia suffered trying land on the moon. But keep in mind, that was back in the 60s, and Russia was a pioneer. Today, you shouldn't even compare achieving similar feat using today's much sophisticated software and hardware to the 60s when you essentially had to build everything from ground up. Besides India had tons of help from Russia, US and Europe, yet they still can't do it.

Congrats to ISIRO they will learn from this, there is no such things as failure, they will come out of this better and stronger, congrats to India.

:rofl::rofl:

https://www.livemint.com/Science/4W...r-with-China-in-space-race-Isros-K-Sivan.html

India is at par with China in space race: Isro’s K. Sivan

None other than your own chief. I think his opinion and view matters.

Do you see CNSA chief or some significant high post in CPC say things like CNSA is on par with NASA?

I didnt malign you Indians. I just speaks fact. Stay Humble.

LOL:rofl: on par with China in manned space flight, space station, soft landing and heavy rockets? chandrayan2 rover is 14 kg vs Chang'e 140 kg, this is at par in ISRO chief's mind?:rofl:

isro is only good at political stunts, leave the hard stuff to others
