LIFE In CHINA vs UK (2023), Which one has better standard of living?​

I've lived in Shanghai and Lodon and I'll pick Shanghai/ Delhi any day compare to London.

London cannot beat what you can get in Shanghai e.g. full time Ayi, car with driver, excellent accommodation, food, night life and good people

GDP figures in US and UK only look good on paper, in reality people struggle to get by.

This is correct. So many people here are living pay check to pay check.

As for the OP, it depends where in the UK/China you live and what your income is. I am not sure how strong the welfare safety net in China is.
