Tehran, May 31, IRNA – Head of the Food and Medicine Organization Rasul Dinarvand said on Sunday that better life style and nutrition are equal to increase in average of life expectancy as over the past 35 years, life expectancy of the Iranian people has increased by 20 years.
Dinarvand said increase in the average life expectancy of the Iranian people in a 35-year period is a great achievement, which should be appreciated.
He said, 'We do not content to such increase in the life expectancy and believe that there is possibility for another 10-year increase.'
Dinarvand said health control and safety of food products is among our constant activities to the extent that thanks to the endeavors of officials and government people are now confident of the safety of food ther consume.
He said proper investment in healthy food and nutrition will produce successful results as one of the most important goals of his organization is employing proper living method.
