They are in Sirte. But unlike 2011 and 2016, against gaddafi and Isis respectively, they dont have air dominance. If LNA has mig 29s and pantsirs then GNA will experience heavy casualties. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Sirte_(2016)

Without Nato air support ISIS would have defeated GNA. 4000 casualties despite having aircover and unlimited access to supplies shows GNA and Misratas lack training and leadership. I am no supporter of ISIS, just know GNA backed by Turkey, need huge foreign support to succeed.

Anyone know if GNA will make a push for Sirte or did they call the offensive off?

They did call offensive for 5 days in row or something but GNA militia have retreated to 90 KM west of Sirte ..... it seems like these will be the lines of ceasefire.
