Yep, so right. These Chinese brainwashed maniacs swarm all over the place thumping their chests as if they are some great nation the world was waiting for. They are the most disliked nation on the planet. None of their neighbours likes them, barring Pakistan. Japan, Vietnam, India, South Korea, Russia - you name it, they are all sick of this scourge called China.

Hehe, looks like another thread ruined by the "wanna-jees" and "thumping-chans". It probably generates revenue for the site ... but only to a point I suspect.

These mods really ought to be paid.

Bottom line is that you speak the truth ... peacefullllllllllllll! But incomplete.

I have said it before, but will say it again: China "vs" India ... is merely the specter of the most disliked nation (in Asia) vs the most despised.

May the best party "win" both titles.

they are chosing the bombs types and models until qaddafi kill 10.000 more and control bin ghazi.

well in terms of serving india's interest they have got it spot on, i have to say indians put pakistani diplomacy to shame.

but one thing to remember, now that india is essentially ignoring what gadaffi is doing they have to remain consistent in being non interventionist because then they will be indulging in the same hypocrisy that they and others nations complain the west does.................................thats something to remember, because i know i will :)

Also remember that the other abstentions at the UN voting were: Brazil, Russia, Germany and China. All "ignoring what gaddafi is doing."So don't forget to remember all the hypocrite and perfidious countries. There should not be any "Selective Amnesia". :)

haha, last time i checked i dont believe countries like brazil, russia or china were in the business of moral pontification.

therefore if/when in the future the indian decide to take specific stances on regional/global issue they should remember to use their words very carefully, indians are very close to becoming adept at the type of colonial-esque hypocrisy and double standards that they (as well as others) have spent a good deal of the 20th century bemoaning, how the world changes?

who would have thought that india just wanted "a seat at the table" instead of being a principled leanred post colonial nation that should "know better"?:coffee:

CNN live cable TV news in the US reports this afternoon, Friday, March 18, 2011, that no cease fire is being observed by the Kadafi armed forces and attacks continue against cities in Western Libya.

Gadhafi now says he will start shooting down civilian airliners.

All civilian air traffic into and out of Libya is of course shut down and will remain shut for the duration.

CNN News includes films of attacking Libyan aircraft and rebels returning fire with inadequate anti aircraft weaponry from the ground. These films are of today, not ancient clips.

My suspicion is that this "ceasefire" agreement was nothing but a ploy by Kadafi to try buy some more time so that he can crush the rebel resistance in Benghazi.

He's not leaving Cameron and Sarkozy many options at this point.

American votes for no fly zone.

China, russia (and BRIC) calls bluff and abstains instead of vetoing(and being painted in bad light). Now ball is in america's court and whole world see if US and her allies will follow through with their actions. This is also being compared with the saudi aid to Bahrain.

The west is under Gaddafi control while east under rebel. I feel interest groups behind this are more interested in seeing Libya split rather than under either the rebel or Gaddafi government - in essence divide and rule rather than costly occupation/restructuring.

I saw the meeting on news briefly, and saw a Chinese represenative who was doing all the talking.

Like to know if India was in that meeting oto btw.

where will the oil go, and to who?

where is the outrage about s.arabia's backward oppressive regime?

why is there outrage over what gadaffi has done, but silence on the 100000 dead iraqi's?

why does bahrain not deserve reform, justice and democracy?

how many will the americans kill this time?

why did bush and blair embrace gadaffi? were the freedoms of the libyans not significant then?

why create another theatre of war in the ME?

The U.N. Security Council voted to authorize air strikes against Libyan tanks and artillery and enforce a no-fly zone, all aimed at averting a bloodbath. The U.N. force was expected to engage Qaddafi troops on Friday and over the weekend.

The colonel reportedly replied to the U.N. action by going on a talk show (you can't make this stuff up) and declaring to rebels who refused to put down their arms and seek amnesty: ''We will come house by house, room by room. It's over. The issue has been decided. ...We will find you in your closets. We will have no mercy and no pity.''

Hillary Clinton, argued the U.S. needed to act before Qaddafi did "terrible things" to Libya and its neighbors. She said, "It's just in his nature. There are some creatures that are like that.'' These were the administration's most personal attacks on Qadaffi, echoing a comment by the late President Ronald Reagan that the Libyan was the ''mad dog of the Middle East.''

While Libyan government forces have had the upper hand, don't count the rebels out yet. An air strike by U.N. forces, probably led by the French and supported by the Arab League, can ground Libyan fighter jets and choppers, allowing the combat aircraft of the rebels to attack Qaddafi's supply lines. Quick execution of the U.N. order can make a difference. This game is not over yet, which means that energy prices and oil stocks should resume their advance.

-----------------

If what is reported is true, dang... he is certainly one mad dog!
