LET attacking TTP bases says TTP

This is not the first time, in 2009 ISI used turkistan bhittani group and abdullah mehsud faction led by qari zain against TTP...
This time local militant group ansar ul islam was very weak so help of punjab based LET has been sought by ISI....I have no idea how much effective is LeT against TTP....But ISI may not be expecting victory from LeT and AI but the aim is to exhaust TTP and slipt its attention.....LeT and AI in kunar and Pak army in Tirah....tirah might slip from TTP hands.
Those who are thinking that TTP would get annihilated in tirah war, are forgetting some thing. TTP is based in north waziristan and tirah was never their stronghold. The fact that they are offering tough resistance along with LI against army in tirah for last two months, speaks of their threat level.

Best of luck to Afghan taliban and LET. Post 2014 Afghanistan and Kashmir belongs to you guys.

Cant say about Kashmir but with this attitude of yours one day surely Pakistan will belong to these guys :undecided:

So Kashmir is not priority for Pakistani army and its favorite asset LET...

Good for India, if they are not focusing energies on Indian state of J & K...

Every country in the world, your world consisting of only one country called Bharat?

Not anymore than the fact that TTP has refuge in Afghanistan being proof that NATO supports TTP.

Dear SMC,

If we let go of conspiracy theories and start making our judgments on facts, then it’s quite easy to see that these terrorists are fueling terrorism and working against our efforts to bring peace and stability to the region. TTP is responsible for killing thousands in Pakistan alone. The bottom line is that these terrorists view us as a common obstacle preventing them from taking over the region. Our common stance against terrorism, along with our beliefs and values, continues to bind us together despite all the challenges and obstacles that come our way. It is obvious that the pressure from our forces and the ongoing power struggle between these extremist organizations are forcing them to crumble. Our failure to see the picture clearly, and to now use their dispute to our advantage, could be seen as failing to capitalize on an opportunity.

So , the initial effects of withdrawal from Afghanistan are showing themselves now . Great .

The simple point is that Afghan Taliban along with couple of other factions aren't happy with TTP's activities inside Pakistan for a long time . This isn't the first time that a warning has been delivered from the other side of the border and they are now gearing up for fight with each other , add the closure of resupply facilities and safe havens for disowned Pakistani Taliban - a reality check for people who thought that even ' terrorists ' could be united and weren't splintered into factions and that they can be negotiated with . The incoming reports from the area prove otherwise , even if you start peace talks with one , the other wont be happy and still attack you . So instead of focusing on ' peace process ' , better concentrate on the ' flushing out ' part even outsourcing the fight to the militants on the other side . Secure the land . Its kind of like the same situation we faced after the Soviets left abruptly in '89 and Afghanistan again drifted into civil war . The subsequent fighting after the communists left and the ' Peshawar Accords ' which failed . These factions and warlords would go to any lengths to gain power and influence specially - the ultimate dream of control over Kabul . The picture for the country itself is very gloomy . Its armed forces aren't ready to say the least , a central Govt non existent , even the capital itself under attack at the moment . Add the increase in attacks over ISAF in the last few days and the most worrying ' green on blue ' attacks from the same people who are being trained by Americans to run the country and you can have a general understanding of ' the reality on ground ' . Despite what some are expecting the Afghans and possibly ' token forces ' to do what a million haven't been able to manage in a decade . Its just ' damage limitation ' now .

Pakistan should plan its ' moves ' carefully now . A better deal is to let them fight with each other and fight the last standing instead of dealing with all simultaneously .

Knew I am going to hit a few nerves on the other side of the border. Looks like I am successful. ;)

Its just that in this context, most Pakistani members here are beginning to sound like whiny kids who keep saying

"Mere Papa ko office jaane de.. Phir main tujhe dekh loonga " :D

Applies more to you than us. Happens after every major incident of terrorism inside India. :D

well, we are not waiting for anything like you guys.. For Pakistani members here, answer to everything seems to be 2014 :D

Whether you wait or not but your behavior after every terror incident is hilarious. Only thing positive about any terror incident inside india is your general behavior after it. We wait for that too.

Muft ki tafreeh ho jati hai. :D

Really? You might confused with something else. I know your situation.

I want to see this fight with 3D glasses in CinepaxGold :omghaha:

Their high hopes on 2014 is same like closing the NATO supply route in 2011 and expecting huge out of it, but all of us know what happened to such expectations, they reopened it without any condition.

What miracle are you expecting in 2014, when nothing was achieved between 1989-2013 :omghaha: Terrorists once fighting in Kashmir turned against the Pakistan state.

Terrorists fighting against Pakistan would again turn against your country. Good enough for us.
