Lessons from Saudi Arabia

almost everyone has rejected the young age of Ayesha (R.A), and only a few people are hell bent on giving a bad name to Islam, I fail to understand how a 9 year old could recount so many Hadith
You even realise how ridiculous your post is?
Next you'll say that you don't believe a 10 year old can memorize the Quran.

AyeshaR.A was 19 , not 9 when Prophet SAW died.

. .
Here is the bottom line! ONLY and ONLY The Quran cannot be challenged! Everything else can be challenged and either confirmed or rejected based on mere it and evidence. And that includes ahadith and any other book by any scholar! This needs to happen over and over again and again WITH FULL AND EQUAL PARTICIPATION OF MUSLIM WOMEN! I cannot consider any ijmah as valid without the equal representation and opinions of learned sisters.
You cannot reject hadith based on your personal preferences. There is a chain of narrators to back up the ahadith, research has been done on the authenticity of ahadith for centuries so you shouldn't be sayin that you have the right to accept or reject. The hadith which aren't authentic have already been declared as dai'f through unbiased research, with logic and reasoning to back up all of the claims. It's not a new thing.
And who decides the piety and credibility of these scholars? other scholars? Who decides theres? Back in the day, it was the king who would decide for his own political purposes that mufti or imam such and such as very pious and credible the royal command isthat everyone shall follow this guy but now who decides? Im almost tempted to findout the names of scholars Who were sentenced to death by the corrupt kings and sultans cuz those scholars must've rattled some very sensitive bones!
I don't know which scholars you are talking about. Abu Hanifa was imprisoned by those kings. The arms of Imam Malik were shattered by lashes on the orders of the "caliph", now Muslims follow Abu Hanifa, Malik etc, not those kings.
And who decides the piety and credibility of these scholars? other scholars? Who decides theres?
Sure a person who doesn't know Arabic, who haven't studied the entire deen, who has no sense of comparative religion shouldn't be the one to decide anything whatsoever.
As I said earlier, we accept the Ijma of the Ummat since it was based upon scholastic debates and evidence from Quran and Sunnah. If you don't have Quran, Sunnah, the lives of Sahaba(the majority of em), to back up your claim then your claim whether you are a Mufti or not can be rejected.

.
@Psychic,

Maybe you have had a bad experience with a Mufti and nothing else.
Frankly I've never needed one... TheHoly Quran and the authentic sunnah has been more than enough foo me and my family to live a good clean life.

Nikkah is one thing, rukhsati (going with the spouse and probably having intercourse) is another. It was practiced in the past and considered normal back in those days. Nikkah at young age, rukhsati when the girl becomes adult. It's like a promise that two families made that they'll marry off their children when they grow up.
OMG ARE YOU 6??? forget rukhsati dude, how can an under aged girl even decide on her nikah? !?!?! No HE GUARDIAN DOES NOT HAVE THAT AUTHORITY!!! GET OVER IT!

I told you that I reached puberty at 12 or so. If you think that a younger girl cannot reach puberty, then I am sorry, I cannot help you.

I have never heard any Mufti saying that girls should go with their husbands before they start menstruating, you seriously should stop listening to the fake wannabe Muftis. I like it how an @sshole like Amjem Ch is considered a Mufti and many others who refute him and debunk his claims were not given any airtime.

Again... forget "going" with her husband ... how can the poor child even decide at such an age'if she even wants to marry that man or get married in at all???
Oh great!
The ijmah which this ummat reached after scholistic debates and evidence from Quran and Sunnah to back it up is faulty and a fatwa of a "gum naam" must be accepted!
Buddy, if the ijma of the ummah was done properly based on ONLY the Quran and sunnah then maybe this ummah wouldn't have had B52s flying over head with muslim killing muslim underneath it!

It's not the job of ulema to develop B-52s. Ask those who were in charge.

Yes you've never needed one since you can find excuses to satisfy your own personal preferences.

AyeshaR.A Nikkah was held when she was 6. I am not saying it should be encouraged or otherwise though.

How on earth did you confuse nikah with Quran memorization is beyond me! And when did I talk about Aisha RA age when The Holy Prophet pbuh passed away! You are talking nonsense!

That warrants no reply as you make no sense!

memorizing the Quran, and understanding the Hadith and then transmitting it, along with the interpretation is not the job of a 10 year old.
Hazrat Ayesha was 19 when the Prophet died? she was 19 when she got married, again people shamelessly accuse great people of strange actions.
Just because Molvis want to justify their perverted desires, they change their very own religion, Islam
stop blindly believing in Molvis, and study how old Ayesha (R.A) actually was.

The above was as senseless as it could go.

I am not someone who clings to his views if he's proven wrong. I am ready to go on backfoot if there's solid evidence that Ayesha's Nikkah wasn't held when she was 6. However , the Rukhsati at 9 or 14 depending on which tradition you accept is something which is undisputed.

I am not going to have a debate with an ignorant like you.
Prophet SAW died in 632. Ayesha was born in 613/14. So Ayesha as per you was married when Muhammad SAW was in his death bed?

Narrated 'Aisha:

that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death).

You are 100% WRONG! Only the Quran cannot be corrupted and everything else can! And I never said " I reject or accept based on my preferences". Those are YOUR words, not mine. I said" accept or reject based on MERIT and EVIDENCE" so nice try but it didn't work. Further more, No ONE can claim the current s ia sitta books cannot be corrupted and are perfeet! That would make it as perfect as the Quran which is kufr. Changes can be made to any collection of books written by any scholar and entirely possible that such changes did happen. Butif you think that books written by scholars are perfect and cannot be corrupted ineluding the hadith books then I'm afraid you have created ah equality between the Quran and other books! I can't help you with something that dangerous... maybe some molvi can... good luck with that ...

look person, I am going to present some facts here, although I am sure you will reject them

The Age of Ayesha in Relation to the Age of Asma
According to Abda'l-Rahman ibn abi zanna'd:

“Asma (ra) was ten years older than Ayesha. (REF: Siyar A`la'ma'l-nubala', Al-Zahabi, Vol. 2, p. 289, Arabic, Mu'assasatu'l-risalah, Beirut, 1992)

According to Ibn Kathir:

"She [Asma] was elder to her sister [Ayesha] by ten years". (REF: Al-Bidayah wa'l-nihayah, Ibn Kathir, Vol. 8, p. 371, Dar al-fikr al-`arabi, Al-jizah, 1933)

According to Ibn Kathir:

"She [Asma] saw the killing of her son during that year [i.e. 73 AH], as we have already mentioned, and five days later she herself died. According to other narratives she died not after five days but ten or twenty or a few days over twenty or a hundred days later. The most well known narrative is that of hundred days later. At the time of her death, she was 100 years old." (REF: Al-Bidayah wa'l-nihayah, Ibn Kathir (died 1333), Vol. 8, Pg. 372, Dar al-fikr al-`arabi, Al-jizah, 1933)

According to Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani:

"She [Asma (ra)] lived a hundred years and died in 73 or 74 AH." (REF: Taqribu'l-tehzib, Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani, Pg 654, Arabic, Bab fi'l-nisa', al-harfu'l-alif, Lucknow)

According to almost all the historians Asma (ra), the elder sister of Ayesha (ra) was ten years older than Ayesha (ra). If Asma was 100 years old in 73 AH, she should have been 27 or 28 years old at the time of hijra { Asma’s age MINUS 73 hijrah EQUALS the age of Asma at the time of Hijrah( 100 – 73 or 74 = 27 or 28)}.

If Asma (ra) was 27 or 28 years old at the time of Hijrah, Ayesha (ra), being younger by 10 years, should have been 17 or 18 years old {Asma’s age at the time of Hijarah MINUS the age difference between Asma and Ayesha EQUALS the age of Ayesha at the time of Hijarh (27 or 28 –10 = 17 or 18 yrs)}. Thus, Ayesha (ra), being 17 or 18 years of at the time of Hijra, she started to cohabit with Prophet between 19 to 20 years old (The Age of Ayesha at the time of Hijra + the year of Ayesha cohabiting with Prophet (19-20 + 1-2 Hijra) = The Age of Ayesha when she cohabit with Prophet (19 or 20 years).

Dude, he wont accept books written by these scholars since they don't serve his purpose, so the scholars you mentioned are nothing and the scholars he mentions are everything because they serve his purpose! And besides... you are asking him to do math... ' imam ghazali say that numbers are a work of the devil so don't give him numbers... gives them headaches!
