Lenovo is like Apple, they specify and then let others build it, no investment in core technology. Huawei is an innovative company.

But people would like to pay an extra price for an Apple product. Lenovo doesn't have the similar brand value of Apple.

Give that partially to media promotion, which Lenovo lacks. The entire media stands behind even a perennial loser if they see some interest in it, such as Tesla. And they globally promote, make a hype out of what in other places would be considered a failure.

I do not see a similar passion, for example, for BYD products, although they are, in practical sense, no less than Tesla. And they are profitable and actually deliver cars.

The one difference between apple and Lenovo is that Apple had Steve Jobs. A great innovator.

They are indeed durable. But, as people say here, they do not innovate much for essential PC components, but still build very strong machines.

You get angry too easily.
You are welcomed to pay extra for Apple.
The rest of us are grateful for the usable and affordable Chinese products.
Especially for Indians, or else they cannot afford so many consumer products.
Till now the Indians have not shown their gratitude to China for making led lighting affordable that light up so many of their slums without electricity.

It is not easy to make a durable and useful product but at a lower price.
Coming up with the manufacturing processes to produce better, faster and cheaper is NO LESS INNOVATIVE, but is not headlines news.
That is a ENGINEERING STRENGTH of China that is not recognized and given credit.
