Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen today warned of action as per the immigration law if anyone tries to go to Israel from Bangladesh as it still does not recognise Israel.
"We remain very strong (on legal ground). Everybody knows it. Our immigration will stop them immediately. Immigration will control those things and they do. They've been doing it for years," he told reporters, adding that it is the home ministry that ensures the enforcement of the law.

The foreign minister made the remarks while responding to questions from reporters after the handover of pharmaceutical products for the people of Palestine to its Ambassador to Bangladesh Yousef SY Ramadan at state guesthouse Padma. Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen was also present.
Dr Momen said Bangladesh has not changed its position towards Israel, and no one from Bangladesh can visit Israel.
"If anyone goes there, the person will be liable to be prosecuted. There has been evidence before," said the minister, adding that the government never gave permission to anyone to visit Israel.

He said there is confusion as they have created a new e-passport six to seven months ago deleting "except Israel" to "maintain international standard". "Passport is an identity and it doesn't relate to foreign policy."
The minister said the foreign policy of Bangladesh remains the same as it was during Bangabandhu's time. "We don't recognise Israel."

. .
Israel provide separate entry exit receipt for countries those create problem for visiting Israel.

Bangladeshi government will have no way to control that. As the except Israel part is removed so there will be no barrier to go to Israel.

Many are considering it as a first step to normalizing relation to Israel. As in future if Bangladeshi government needs to normalize the relationship they would not have to go through this process of removal the name of Israel.

That is true but unless the US changes its stance 180 degrees the Jews will never make peace on terms acceptable to the Palestinians in the next 10 years.

It didn’t stop some of the Arab countries to make relation with Israel.

This is what happens when someone intakes too much cow urine and it goes to the head. Speaks nonsense. Its like making an action legal. Then jailing people for exercising their legal right to act on that action.

If someone is jailed by BD for visiting Israel . That itself is against international law. Especially now that BD has removed from passport" Valid except Israel". Therefore BD passport is like any other passport today that allows visit to Israel. What this moron has said amounts to discrimination against the Jewish state . Indirectly BD has normalized relationship with Israel.

When OIC and West/USA is closing up to Israel. This moron comes up this nonsense. Now what if the OIC and West grabs BD by the neck and forces BD to apologies for anti Semitism ?

What will happen to the fabled economic growth when West and OIC kick BD in the teeth for anti - Semitism just for the Idiotic statement? Will the fabled economic growth survive?

Bottom line is , undivided Israel = akhanda bharat. Zionist Israel = hindutva bharat.

So supporters of akhanda Israel can taste cow cola .

Divide akhanda Israel between Jews and Muslims ( as it was the original mandate) will create two states ; one is jewish Israel ( that is not like the zionist Israel) , and the other will Muslim palenstine.

Only then justice will be done.

Ps: I even wouldn't recognise a divided Israel, but unfortunately it's a reality now in a Muslim land. But there should be no compromise with zinonist Israel.

. . . .
maybe they should write it on the passport that the passport is illegal in Israel lol
