Leg Spin bowling Question

I'm a left handed bowler. When I'm trying to bowl leg spin, every ball is a googly, turns away from the right handed batsman. I used to bowl sharp leg spin (into the right handed) as a kid but I completely lost it these days. I'm not throwing the ball from back of the hands for a leg spin but still it turns away as googly.
I need help my fellow gentlemen......

I think this is a technical question

Someone more informed will give you a better response, but your wrist position at point of release must be wrong


Go onto YouTube or Google the multiple videos of Shane warne or mustaq Ahmed

They have given some incredible tutorial to Sky sports on the art of leg spin over the years which I found very insightful


But if your deliveries are coming out as googlies and not leg breaks then my limited knowledge response is your wrist position at point of release is wrong

You need to work it out
Ask a coach
See some videos on the subject

Practice with different wrist positions to see what works for you that's what the greats of the game did, practice with different positions and see what happened

most commonly, if the back of your palm faces the bowler at the time of release, itll be a wrong 'un/googly

get a coach/practice harder.

btw, Sachin once got Shane warne out with a googly, probably his most prized wicket.

Wrist position maybe wrong. Make video and then watch it to analyze. Also if u spin the ball with you 4th finger, it will tend to be more leg spin and if u use ur 3rd finger then it would tend to be more towards googly or forward spin. But all depends on wrist position. You can bowl all variations with both the fingers.
