I did not skim through much of the controversial threads here in the past few days but if its true that there is no tolerance for the two major sects of Islam on this forum, then it is very saddening.

The two sects are two different schools of thought and not two entirely different religions for god's sake! Allah made us the best of nations:
"You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah..." [3:110]

It does not suit this 'best nation' to divide into sect leave alone ridicule and call other a kafir (nauzubillah). The threshold of disbelief is known to Allah and only he can decide who is a kafir not us.

I hope that we stop becoming Saudi/Irani fanboys. I wont even say 'Pakistan first'. I say: I am a Muslim first. A Muslim who believes in one God and his prophet(saw). Everything else is secondary.

Leaving won't help plus generally most people who claim to leave usually stay cause they met interesting people here yes they are trolls of various nationalities but dont get that to your thick skull my suggestion do what I do when things get heated take a hiatus of few days or weeks and come back usually the news cycle changes and thus the discourse changes
