Nothing problematic in what is being suggested in calls. How can any province give surplus budget during such horrific natural calamity? Ok so tapping is the issue but not the crux of what is being said? During PTI's reign the exact same machinery (which you now identify as "who else") and technology was being used against their opponents.

The majority of journalists and media hounded during the PTI's reign were those criticizing the establishment (Army), whether it be Hamid Mir or Matiullah Jan. There is a whole meme about journalists and anchors being 'taken to enjoy the Northern Areas and getting software updates' because of the Establishment's involvement in these abductions.

The PTI denied any role in, and called for investigations into, Toor and Matiullah Jan's abductions. There was no support or justification for the attacks on them by the PTI leadership, unlike what is going on today - this is a false equivalence to protect the uniformed dictators and beasts that serve in the Army leadership.

What does 'sovereign' have anything to do with the cold hard facts that the devastation from the recent floods have made meeting IMF conditions impossible this year and that the provincial governments will find it impossible to show a budget surplus?

The Army Leadership enabled it - what part of the Army leadership concocting evidence through the ANF (which it controls) and manipulating police and judges to 'open and shut the tap on accountability investigations and prosecutions was because the 'PTI enabled it'?

IK chose to give Bajwa and the Army leadership the benefit of the doubt, assuming they had Pakistan's best interests at heart. The Army leadership abused that faith, manipulated the system and did what it always does. Faiz remaining DG ISI was the Prime Minister's prerogative.

The fact that Bajwa threw a temper tantrum befitting a crying whining spoilt toddler only reflects poorly on him and the Army leadership supporting him and exposes the lie that there was any civilian supremacy over the Army.

All telecom companies have to keep record of calls for a certain period of days. No software or spyware needs to be installed in your phone.

The whole tape was not released on purpose, only the bits that they thought would favor PDM and malign PTI were used.

All telecom companies have to keep record of calls for a certain period of days.

I don't know about the practice now, but from what I know from someone who actually does this in Pakistan, the telephone companies only keep metadata of a call, i.e. numbers, location, duration, etc. Not the actual content itself.

If needed, the agency then requests the company to record the phone calls starting from when the request was made until further notice.

The other method (more preferred and quick) is different and the phone company is totally kept out of the loop. This process is both random and targeted.

No software or spyware needs to be installed in your phone.
