Is it a joke? Peking university? how can they get to the still born and do the autopsy to determine that the deaths were casued by air pollution? every year so extremely weird "researches" by dubious sources released, but normal people know they are just jokes.

I agree that millions of abortions happen in China cause it's legal in China, it is a fact and has concete record backing, but still born and air pollution, come on, if you have a brain, use it, doomsday scare only sell to dumb people.

You do not know what I can read or not. I know people whose Weibo and Weixin accounts are taken down for 'sharing' images that might be deemed critical - not even words of their own. So, I do not think there's even an iota of freedom of expression when compared to the West - even though Western opinion space is chaotic and seems not as neat as that of China.

Besides, there's lots of English language media in China, but they all toe the Party line. So, no criticism and a singular narrative. It is impossible to get independent truth through Chinese media. It is always like CCTV evening news.
