Cambodia is our special friend ,too. Laos is always side with us, she supported VN in 1979.

Lt. Gen. Tea Banh, Co-minister of defence born in Koh Kong province, Tea Banh joined the communist underground as company commander in the so-called militia unit of Koh Kong province. He was stationed in Koh Kong and along the Cambodian-Thai border until sometimes before the Vietnamese invasion in Cambodia in 1979. He was trained in Hanoi, and is very fluent in Vietnamese.

Mr. Tea banh is Minister of National Defence in Cambodia now.

Thanks for ur opinion but sadly u don't represent the majority of Vietnamese. Vietnam is actually one of China's closer friends in the region not only because your government wouldn't survive without China but also because Vietnam's policy towards China is a friendship non aggresive policy which has been re iterated a dozen times.

There is like what 60-70million Chinese people living in ASEAN and they are the richer higher class citizens in those countries as well. China is very friendly with Burma, thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Vietnam will never give China any trouble as they are both communist thus the only country in the region that likes giving China trouble is phillipines because they are allies with America.

The regime in Hanoi survived with help of Russian and socialist countries, not China. Traitor in the back is more-danger than enemy in front, we can't know exactly when the traitor open fire on us.
How can majority of Vietnamese think about China base on such truth ?

Thanks for your misguided outlook on life but no one cares sorry fact of the matter is i can spin the war to make Vietnam look like backstabbers to China but the world is a perception of reality. So the fact remains, Vietnam is a communist country and they won't survive if the main communist country in the world falls which is why Vietnam is about as non aggresive towards China as can be. Don't like it? tell your local communist party head to stop kissing China's *** on the international stage.

The funniest thing above all is if there was no Chinese intervention, Vietnam would have become a democracy and might have had better living standards then they do now. BUT instead they are stuck with their useless communist officials who control their country.

Recently Indonesia do his best job to rescued 6 point annoucement of ASEAN after Summit in Phnompenh Cambodia.
