LCA Tejas to debut at this year's Republic Day flypast

Well after 30 years of test and development with 70% imported parts finally they get the courage to fly this tailless jet on republic day. But a question since Indian member many times claims that as per official policy they don't fly single engine jet on republic day parade, did they change their official stance?
Yes changed. After all its our own regulations

LOL Brand New JF-17 . Future of Pakistan Airforce. 3 already lost with just over 17,000 hrs of flying? And they operate very few squadron

They operate way more JF-17 squadrons than India operates LCA if you know how to count.

Since the Agni Pankh has created a certain record, i could easily have posted 101 images but this is to enlighten you how the confidence of flying a single engine over public venues went up in smoke.
So whats your point... are you hurt because India changes our criteria to fly a single engine plane on INdia's republic day... or the pain is that your favorait punching baag is doing so great tat it is bcoming a showcase of capabilities...

Dragging into conversation, an aircraft which has flown across the world to international airshows, currently equips four operational squadrons, already moved on to next block improvements, having received export orders.....all after coming into existence decades after your Tejas.....it's not difficult to conclude, who is desperately boxing above his weight to hide their own sheer embarrassment.

A twin engine plane is inherently safer than a single engine plane. So if an airforce has a choice, it would obviously fly the twin engine planes over public gatherings.

Am sure if Pakistan Air Force could afford twin engine fighter planes it too would prefer to use them over single engine fighter planes for public fly pasts.

Does it have to be directly over the crowd? What if it gives some distance away from it as long as it is still in the view? I think India should not shy away from showing off her own creation in front of her own people. Safety can always be managed. Otherwise, there should be no reason to have any single engine aircraft at all since God knows when it would dive into some big crowd in some city.
