We want to confuse the enemy also getting ourselves confused in the bargain.

I think we only tested for weapon release from LCA only in case of bombs.

No, there were also dedicated strike trials with precision bombings. First with smaller test bombs and last trial must have included LGBs. Also don't forget that the Litening LDP was integrated long ago, which hardly makes sense unless you want to guide a bomb, even in weapon trials.
BVR missiles were not used so far, because of the radar issues and now possibly because ot the switch to Derby, which first needs to be integrated into LCA first, but I don't think there will be much problems, since the EL 2032 is suited for it and we have the same combi at INs Harriers as well.

Actually we are reducing types to 4 (if AMCA comes for IAF as well 5) in future from currently 7 (Mig 21, some 23s, 27, 29, Su 30, M2K and Jags).

great news..but please please start the production fast...we are already behind many deadlines...mk II should be inducted within 2015.else we'll never achieve our target of 42 squadron by 2020.
