LCA Tejas and Cold Start Doctrine – Potential Joint Operations Test case

There are no 'camps'.

I wish its true but we all know its not. But anyways its not the point of discussion. If India were to strike the camps inside the pak territory, Tejas being a light role aircraft can be used to give ground support role and limited A2A role making sure PAs armoured divisions kept clear from IAs path. Big guns of IAF such as MKIs, Mig-29s and will make sure no PAFs bird come close to IA's path and also clean up the SAM/NASR batteries before they can cause any trouble.

The point is IAF does not need air superiority over all the pakistani air space but only 100-150km radius of IA's advancements and 2-3 squadrons each of MKI, Mig-29, LCA/MIG-21 and Mirage 2000 / Jaguar in required configurations can achieve it.

@JayAtl

India is operating at its optimum capacity in Baluchistan.

No one knows the strategy of 'death by a 1000 cuts' better than us. We invented it, practiced it, applied it, had success and can apply that on India, if and when we decided to.

Pakistan maintains the highest level of Human Intelligence on India, from your stock markets, to real estate, from petty crime gangs to drug mafia, from your domestic terrorist outfits from, the Maoists, to IM, LET, Khalistan movement, to your organized smuggling rings....we are present...

Though we won't hit India first with our optimum capacity, one has to be an absolute idiot to underestimate our capability to turn India into a fireball.

People in the Indian decision making circles know the limits to their adventurism against us....thats because they fear our capability (tested and demonstrated) to 'repay havoc with havoc'. So they are careful what they wish for.

Peace.

You already applied it on India. You used the same mujids in Kashmir which you used against Soviet Union.

You tried to take Kashmir by force resulting in majority Kashmir coming to India. You then, in 1960s tried to help insurgents in North east India.

So don't pretend that you will use that policy.

On Topic> Tejas can play a role in CSD. But its combat range needs to be increased.

By propagating CSD theory advantage that India gets is the diversion of Pak economy for developing counter measures to this imaginary doctrine.India knows well they cant unleash such adventure towards Pakistan that sitting in stockpile of Nukes. But you know star war of US make so much loss to USSR in economy side. But Star war is just a concept only.
Whole the world know tactical nuke will cause full scale nuclear war .So NATO just withdraw it against USSR.India's doctrine also ensure complete destruction to enemy if it is attacked by small tactical nuke ,they dont care about size of weapons. But in economical side the counter measures taken by Pakistan to these imaginary CSD concept cause a lot of bleeding to their fragile economy.

You seems to be forgot,What is the real meaning of air superiority. Still for your ease air superiority is all about total control where our ground forces smashing and concentrating unlike some when it was most needed they were hanger queen.
Hint : Read Kaiser Tufail blog what happened in kargil :D
> Strike 1st but 2nd strike from India will make sure there will be no land mass called Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Not my words but Our National security advisor.

Sure but we have some Muslim Friends in the world who will mourn and pray after us, After that we have enough second strike capability to make sure no one left in the world to preach Hinduism. Not my words but a great Pakistani General.

Which one ?? Who got blasted or who is suffering from 9 medical problem. :undecided:

CSD is a very dumb idea in the modern era, by emphasizing the movement of large number of foot soldiers over long distance while the opposing force's air defense and ground defense are still intact.

Combat ready without BVR and IFR enabled and God knows what else. Actually that was equivalent to IOC 2 criteria of Tejas.:smokin:

What after 30 yrs Tejas still not in full production? Cancel the damn plane already, India not cut out to build fighter jet.

Actually, if you look into the history we made more than 2000 Jf 17 type planes for IAF.
Assembled ,licence produced and A/C like Jaguar and Su 30mki from completely raw material sourced from our own industry.;)
Tejas, though Its not 30 year old as it started from 1992 and finally inducted in 2013 but its our own god damn plane, fully indigenous which we can tweak and turn as our requirement. :coffee:
