Germans are completely unreliable as far as purchasing weapons systems go - a lot of countries have learnt that with the recent Ukraine War .... they are best avoided at all costs ...

Poland's personnel shortages will already be compensated through mechanisms such as the VJTF.

Notice I said strongest European army. Air force wise it would be the UK with their Eurofighters + F35 combos.

Poland's personnel requirements are going to be compensated by the reinvigorated Territorial Defense Force. Capable enough to supplement the Army but cheap per soldier to maintain the numbers.

The current policy is to more than double the military. This comes from the necessity to upgrade from old soviet era equipment & further integrate within NATO's logistics. At it's core, with the lessons from Ukraine, Poland is looking for a fast light unit composition.

But the vast majority of this upgrade will be financed through government bonds. And that is still up for grabs with if it can continue with it.
