Poland to buy South Korean tanks, howitzers after sending arms to Ukraine

Ok good move
The new Russian T14 has a 125mm cannon. Future version has a 152mm cannon. There are concerns for western tanks.
Wouldn't worry about a 152mm cannon. Its way too big. At most 140mm. But as you see in the past few decades of tests among western tank designs and prototypes, its just not feasible enough for such a gun. Russians would have a hard time using such a weapon, heck they have a hard time producing T14s.

The T14s don’t come a big number probably because of western sanctions. No semiconductor no tank. Look how Russian drones are made. Full of stuffs imported from the West. The Russians will try to circumvent the sanctions by buying semiconductors in China. The only way to stop Russia invasion is full embargo.

Polish Defense Minister announces that Poland will form the largest ground force in the European Union with a terrifying formation of tanks..

Poland's Minister of National Defense Mariusz Blaszczak said that his country intends to create the strongest ground forces among the European NATO countries.

He said this in an interview with the weekly Sieci.

“The Polish army must be so numerous and strong that its presence frightens the aggressor. The rulers of the Kremlin do not attack strong countries - they attack when they see weakness. Either in terms of artillery or in terms of armored forces, there will not be a stronger nation in Europe in the end. We will have the strongest ground forces among the European NATO countries,” said Blachchak.

According to him, this year Poland will already receive its first Patriot anti-aircraft systems, which it ordered in 2018.

He added, "There will also be a battery similar to the British short-range 'Sky Saber' [British anti-aircraft missile system]. We also have the 'Peron' portable anti-aircraft missile systems, which have proven themselves in Ukraine."

In June, Polish President Andrzej Duda announced that his country plans to receive a certain number of Leopard tanks from Germany to replenish its stockpile of weapons.

According to some sources, the size of the Polish army will increase to 400,000 soldiers and will be equipped with more than 1,000 modern main battle tanks, including:

- 366 M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams tanks from America
- 250 Leopard 2A4 tanks from Germany
- 180 K2 tanks from South Korea
- 400 K2PL tanks, a Polish version of the South Korean K2.

1,000 tanks are not enough. Poland needs more tanks, howitzers, aircraft. Poland is a frontline state. Germany when be a front line state had 5,000 main battle tanks. they should buy from Germany. Much better in quality.
1000 advanced tanks is definitely enough. The emphasis should be on IFVs with ATGMs like the Spike, to outrange any enemy tank. That's exactly the doctorine NATO is pushing for.

Without mass of tanks Ukraine can’t take back the Donbas, Crimea. The war in Ukraine is frozen because Ukraine hasn’t tanks. Poland needs enough tanks to retake the territory if it is rolled over by Russia invasion army by a surprise strike.
1,000 tanks sound ok however you should consider like other military assets ships, aircraft just 50 percent are really operational.
