Americans will kill the deal

the K9 is the the most advanced howitzer in the World

.
Why Poland not buying from Germany they could save shipment prices

.
I thought Poland has agreed the purchase of 116 used Abrams tanks from the United States thus year , On Germany, I believe only offered 20 tanks this was based on there own internal reasoning so went back on initial order of 44 peed poles off. Now Korea , very confusing or just panic from Warsaw deal ?

The performance parameters of K9 are not excellent.

But the K9 is the cheapest, and it also gives away the production line. But it is far from the best.

K9 was defeated by the North Korea with old-fashioned towed artillery during the artillery battle on Yeonpyeong Island.

The total number of K2PL main battle tanks to be purchased is 1,000. The K9 self-propelled howitzer has 672, and the K21 armored combat vehicle is 1,400.

South Korea just needs to come up with their own engine and be open to export and they would become one of the biggest exporter in near future. Japan's own policies are stopping them other wise they can be in this game also.

These numbers are just a wish list you'd give Santa Claus. Poland's not going anywhere near that amount.

While the country's military numbers in personnel and equipment may lag compared to the powerhouses of Germany, France, and the UK, the country has easily picked up knowledge by engaging in military operations across the world.

If we examine closely not only the cooperation with South Korea, but also the military purchases and ongoing negotiations in the last 3-4 years, it is possible to see that Poland's land forces, land aviation and air force capabilities are desired to be developed at an extraordinary speed. As a strong NATO wing country. Even when you roughly add up the purchases, it is clear that the situation in question is an expansion beyond just modernization. One step beyond the Ukraine crisis involves risks that Poland will be a possible contact zone.

Poland's personnel shortages will already be compensated through mechanisms such as the VJTF.

Poland is looking to build the strongest army in europe, but it looks like they will have one of the strongest in the world. They have already ordered hundreds of latest M1A2 abrams tanks, they also have upgraded their Leopard 2 tanks and have advanced upgrade packages for their older soviet tanks (now all sent to ukraine).

Compare this with German which has only a few hundred tanks+ifvs and a dozen thousand soldiers. Poland is literally building up to take on Russia all by itself at this point. Even Polands air force will be better than Germanys and Frances. Think about it they will have the latest F35s backed by the latest F16s.

Notice I said strongest European army. Air force wise it would be the UK with their Eurofighters + F35 combos.

Id rank overall military power to Poland though because their army would easily be able to take on germany+france+uks army in the near future while its airforce could still hold off any respectable europeans airforce. Its quiet remarkable that Poland went from a destroyed weak nation to one of the strongest and fastest growing in Europe in a few decades.

The conditions surrounding Poland are very similar to the Turkiye of the 1950s. Everything is being discussed in Poland right now, including nuclear warheads.

Poland has many defense industry areas that already at a pretty good level. However, the process that has become visible through cooperation and ready-made purchases is about making the Polish army the most important land army power in Europe in 10-15 years.

Germany and France, or some other minor NATO members are not NATO's wing countries. Most members analyzing military assets in Europe miss this detail. The biggest problem for the German army for example, or most western European armies, until the Ukrainian crisis erupted was that even their combat readiness levels were ridiculously low. Even in 8-10 year old helicopters, readiness levels were at 50%. They got used to very comfortable conditions under US military protectorate. In Eastern Europe, the conditions are very different.

They can be countries that develop and export technology. However, this is very different from keeping an army with a high readiness level. Maybe France is positively differentiated by its ambitions, lets say in Africa, and also has power-projection capability, but the geopolitical risks for other countries are manageably low.

I think there are two notable military powers on the European continent, one of which is France. In order to keep the army, which has the ability to bring new innovations on field according its doctrines while keeping ready for a waging of a full-scale war: (I mean not just just strategic assets but morely massive ammunition inventories and vehicles) it is necessary to either be in the last phase of just before actual war process or the army must already be fighting somewhere.

Therefore, Poland will become an important military power. They have the full support. Because they are seen as natural barrier.

Poland 🇵🇱 ukraine 🇺🇦 Russia 🇷🇺 nothing new always fighting with each other since ages but Ukrainian are unlucky ones because of their bully neighbours

1939.

Germany: I signed a non aggression treaty with the USSR.

Poland: Lol, Fools! You don't even have a common border.

USSR: Soon.

Not surprising Poland is in panic mode. Putin is a man nobody in Europe trusts, least the Poles. The Koreans make good business with fear.
