This event, the previous and very recent attacks in Lahore, and today's wider attacks on the Police in Afghanistan all form part of their "bloody show of strength".

Omar i know ur upset about the attacks, but u can not blame all of them just cuz a few are bad.

Just take the mumbai attacks, there was a pakistani in them, does that mean we are to be blamed for those attacks?

Theres hardly any Pakistani refugees in India while Pakistan is hosting millions of Aghan refugees, which a lot of those refugees are causing problems for Pakistan.

We can forget about any kind of development, all our dreams of Centaurus and World Trade Center Islamabad because terrorists will either just blow themselves up or take these buildings into hostage once they are full of Pakistanis in them.

Dudes, we took in afghans in 1978( 3 million of them) That was our religious duty. If after all this that we have done for them they want to bark at us, let them.
We know that if there is still an Afghanistan , that is solely due to the generosity & sacrifices of the Muslims of Pakistan. Dont indulge in a war of words with them. They never liked us to begin with( since 1947).

LAHORE: When the terrorists attempted to escape from the scene after attacking the trainees at the Police Training School Manawan, armed villagers from nearby localities prevented their escape, locals told Daily Times.

They said the assailants intended to escape from the scene just like they did after the 3/3 Liberty terrorist attack. Villagers said they did not allow them to escape and forced them back into the school by opening indiscriminate fire on them.

Villagers: Muhammad Fazal, resident of Taiz Garh, said he was working in his fields when he heard the sound of consecutive blasts. He said the residents of the village reached the scene with their weapons and intercepted the terrorist attack. He said more than one dozen villagers were waiting for the terrorists to come out when they tried to climb over the wall to exit the building. He said consecutive firing on all walls of the school by the villagers prevented their escape and they hid themselves inside the building. Security Superintendent of Police (SP) Ahsan Younas said locals played a commendable role during the attack. He said he was unaware of how long the police took to reach the scene. After the siege was over, the villagers as well as the police officials celebrated. They all danced in jubilation. The villagers lifted the police commandos on their shoulders and celebrated.

The villagers and policemen also shouted slogans praising their resolve against terror.

but in the process plz, dont get carried away, we are in problem not becz of Afghans, it is beceuase of people behind them, they are poor and they will do it for the money, as today we see brotehrs killing brother for a poiece of land. that does not mean we get too emotional that we let our grip off the reality.

Aghans are our brothers and will remain so, it is Indian, Amercians who want to play a little chess here, and we are the king they are after. rest are piadas-Afghani who are being used mercilesly for few dollars.

Plz try to understand this approach will only lead us to further divide, we are strong when we stand unit, there r no afghanis, but consider them as pakistani then u will have little problem to understand the situation.

Your point is valid also, but there was no 1 to stop these refuges from coming in. Lets hope authorities take action against the refuges set them in order register them, keep an close eye o them.

As far as the projects are concerned by the time they are complete inshallah things will get better, plus these building will be provided with major security.

Pakistan: Taliban behind Lahore attack

Pakistan's interior ministry chief says Taliban militants have been responsible for besieging a police-training academy near the city of Lahore.

Interior Minister Rehman Malik told a press conference in Lahore that the attack was planned in the South Waziristan tribal region bordering Afghanistan.

He added that militants loyal to Pakistani Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud were suspected of carrying out the lethal attack. He emphasized that militants in tribal areas receive training from across the border in Afghanistan.

The incident took place early on Monday when gunmen in police uniform broke into the Manawan police training school outside Lahore and attacked recruits with hand grenades and random gunfire.

There is still conflicting reports on the casualties. Earlier reports have said at least 25 people were killed and 90 others injured when the masked gunmen attacked the police.

A high-level committee has been formed to probe the terror attack in Lahore, and will present its reports within three days.

The incident came less than a month after gunmen carried out a major assault on the visiting Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore, leaving eight Pakistani policemen dead and injuring seven players along with their coach.

Pakistan's nuclear-armed neighbor India has condemned the Lahore attack, saying it threatened security across the troubled region.

Thousands of Pakistanis have lost their lives in hundreds of suicide bombings by al-Qaeda and Taliban linked militants.

It appears it was your Brothers who stormed over the walls of Lahore's Police Academy armed to the teeth with grenades and automatic weapons, firing indiscriminately into an unarmed crowd. Your Brother who rode that motorcycle and blew himself and others up outside the Lahore High Court (LHC). Another of your two Brothers have attacked the Pakistan Naval War College, and smashed explosive laden trucks into the Federal Investigation Agency, and a Private Advertising firm. They have also set off bombs near the service hospital, in the shops, the arts festival, and the theatres... all within the past year.

And that's only in Lahore.

I trust there are those in power who will be operating with a much clearer perspective.
