At Least 3 days per week, I travel all around lahore city. Its almost signal free. In my personal view, Lahore infrastructure is far more better than any city.

No doubt, the quality of roads and underpasses, flyovers are better than even Islamabad. Lahore need more office area precincts, like knowledge park coming up, more business/IT parks with medium to high rises and not just Bungalows and townhouses...purpose built office high rises are still in short supply.

Also need more green areas and more trees...

Electric wires look ugly, good news since December 2017 they have started project to put wires underground all over Lahore.

"Lahore: The project to move electricity wires underground is currently being carried out on the Mall Road, according to a news source. It is expected that the project will be started in other parts of the city to eventually make Lahore free from dangling electricity wires."

According to the Lahore Deputy Commissioner, the Underground Corridor project has been introduced as a model initially in Gulberg and on the Mall Road, and it will eventually spread to other parts of the city as well. Electricity wires on the Main Boulevard Gulberg and the M. M. Alam Road have already been moved underground.

The Lahore District Administration has not spent any funds on the project, but has completed it with financial assistance from private companies.
