Because its from Israel and too heavy compare to T-90 ,Kuwaiti probably found T-90 more economical then others

So war in Syria is acting as a PR campaign to prove Russia weapon mettle..and boosting sales of Russian weaponry to their adversaries in Russia..this is interesting development...

Kuwait operated a good number of M84AB's (Yugoslavian varaiant pf T72). Few are still in service. T90MS might completely replace those.
