That is very sad news for Indians who've been celebrating this old and half baked news religiously.

There is a ban or some extra-ordinary restrictions at least. My friend was not able to got Kuwait due to the ban.

Seems like "Fake" news being spread on web forums with 0% credibility in past few days / weeks , mostly members with about 100-200 posts on forum, qouting blogs or , uncredible sites

Obtaining Kuwait visa was never easy, ever since 2009 they have followed strict regulations for non business travellers.

Could have something to do with who was "sponsoring"the visa. For e.g. here in the UAE, if the sponsor - individual or company has outstanding issues, they will not be issued new visas.

Besides this issue had Hussain Haqqani working overtime as well:
