Old Testament do explain everything . Try to read about the verses related to Baal. You cant deny that Baal was phoenician God and when whom the Israelites were fighting.

Let me repeat myself. The Semitic Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) have a recorded history of over 3000 years. Semitic recorded history on the other hands predates that number by many millenniums and before the Abrahamic religions emerged (in recorded history mind you) Semites from Yemen to Syria had their own Ancient pre-Abrahamic Semitic religions.
You should not really teach me about this. I have studied the history of ancient Semites and that of the Arab world (cradle of civilization) for almost 7 years now closely. Starting from the period of the first humans inhabiting what is today the Arabian Peninsula (second longest inhabited place on the planet after East Africa) to contemporary history. Add to that a deep knowledge about genetic studies.

P.S:
Do you even know what "Baal" means? It's a Northwestern SEMITIC word for "lord" which later was applied to some of the Semitic Gods that were worshipped by people at that time. That's an own goal right there buddy.
