Poonam Pandey or say Tharkis hijacked the thread ;). Anyways, Shilpa Shetty was also present there. Anyone got her "Dipping" pics.

Uski baaki harkaton ko 8 billion are watching.

There is a difference between in real and in Television.. :D

If she were in a bikini, nothing would have been left in her for dipping :P

then he is irresponsible. He still owes a duty to his family after all these " like getting married, having children and then giving them a bright future". There is a strong bondage between him and his family beyond these stages.

There is a poem based on teaching of Upanishads written by an British poet. You questions and their answers reminds me of them. Let me share it, it may help you.

It was six men of Hindustan
To learning much inclined,
Who went to see the Elephant
(Though all of them were blind),
That each by observation
Might satisfy his mind.

The First approached the Elephant,
And happening to fall
Against his broad and sturdy side,
At once began to bawl:
"God bless me! but the Elephant
Is very like a WALL!"

The Second, feeling of the tusk,
Cried, "Ho, what have we here,
So very round and smooth and sharp?
To me 'tis mighty clear
This wonder of an Elephant
Is very like a SPEAR!"

The Third approached the animal,
And happening to take
The squirming trunk within his hands,
Thus boldly up and spake:
"I see," quoth he, "the Elephant
Is very like a SNAKE!"

The Fourth reached out an eager hand,
And felt about the knee
"What most this wondrous beast is like
Is mighty plain," quoth he:
"'Tis clear enough the Elephant
Is very like a TREE!"

The Fifth, who chanced to touch the ear,
Said: "E'en the blindest man
Can tell what this resembles most;
Deny the fact who can,
This marvel of an Elephant
Is very like a FAN!"

The Sixth no sooner had begun
About the beast to grope,
Than seizing on the swinging tail
That fell within his scope,
"I see," quoth he, "the Elephant
Is very like a ROPE!"

And so these men of Indostan
Disputed loud and long,
Each in his own opinion
Exceeding stiff and strong,
Though each was partly in the right,
And all were in the wrong!

So oft in theologic wars,
The disputants, I ween,
Rail on in utter ignorance
Of what each other mean,
And prate about an Elephant
Not one of them has seen

We have that similar proverbial story told in our primary school days. Thanks for sharing anyway

But still it is a hard feeling for his family to see him embarking on a path of his own. The physical separation is quite unbearable for his family unless they get into the same level of belief
If you can digest and want to know about most different type of people, watch one on "Aghoris".

Their version of approach to God is so revolting that people can't understand and accept what they do.

For them, they try to remove the difference between Good and Bad in the world. It includes no connection to family, only utensil they have is bowl carved out of human skull, they eat dead human meat, anything even if that means sh*t. They live in cemetery. The ashes of dead people is mixed with water and applied on their body. They take clothes left after burning the body.

You will find it damn weird and unacceptable but they are the most peaceful people even with this life style. People worship life, they worship death, sort of.

India is full of extremes. The God they worship are also worshiped by priests who are diametrically opposite to them.

Wonderful, wished I could have made it. Kind of makes you think about the effort and dedication it took to organize the largest pilgrimage on earth. :)
