KP to complete two hydel projects this month

Project Details - Electra Consultants it started in 2009 and has nothing to do with PTI govt . if KPK govt takes for such a small project 3 years ,
http://www.nepra.org.pk/Licences/Licence Application/Ranolia SHYDO (17 MW).PDF
It is a ADB financed project which has nothing to do with the performance of PTI govt , it started in 2010 and was supposed to be operational in 2014 .now still it is not complete despite 2 years of PTi govt and it is such a small project .
How PTI kpk govt is taking the credit for which it has got no contribution from financing to execution . If it can take 3 years for 16 +2.5 mwatts , it is peanuts as our demand is much more than that . If PTI really wants to do something , first do something and dont try to spread lies .

http://www.nepra.org.pk/Licences/Licence Application/Ranolia SHYDO (17 MW).PDF pls see the report (from page 17 onwards )of sarhad hydel power 2012 , in 2013 4 projects of about 105 mwts , phur , malakand , shishi , reshun were completed , while malachai 2.6 mwatts , renolia 17 mwatts and daral khawar 36 mwatts were inder construction with the funding of ADB , These were already supposed to be completed in 2014 . All the funding from ADB was arranged by previous govt and the execution was done by prevoius govt and has got nothing to do with current pti kpk govt . PTI has not done anything for power generation and has got no significant allocation for energy sector in 15 -16 budget .

These projects were long delayed due to lack of political will by the previous govts. These projects were kick started by current govt.

Brother of Asad Umer Mr. Zubair Chairman privatization Commission challenged KPK government that they not have submitted single feasibility Report in Nepra.(NEPRA is National Electric Power Regulatory Authority )Independent body to regularize the Power Production.

So claims of Asad Umer and Jhangir Tareen are just Accusations!
in Last 24 Months KPK Government not submitted single feasibility report of any power Project, this year they allocated the funds, and after allocation, defiantly they will submit the report in Nepra for Approval, and after that Approval WAPDA will able to purchase the electricity and put the power in National Grid.

Please dont think Pakistani Nation is fool any more.

Similarly, feasibility studies of the fifteen (15) hydro power projects have been completed and execution of 356 mini/micro hydel projects of 10kW-500kW capacity each has been started in Malakand and Hazara Divisions with 20% cost contribution by the community. The feasibility studies of 141 sites have been completed and construction work on 41 projects started. Out of which 20 projects will be completed by the end of July 2015.

Come again..?

Pmln didnt claim any hydro project either , it is PTI who is claimimg false ownership of hydro projects . Nutshell is PTI has done zero +zero+zero =zero.

my question remains there how many such little hydro projects made by PML N in Punjab in last 8 years name a single one

It usually goes unnoticed because such projects contribute little to provincial economy. The likes of Machai Hydel are suitable to provide uninterrupted electricity to single village of 1000-1500 medium sized households but not good enough to contribute significantly at national level.

In 5 years, our electricity demand may exceed 35,000 megawatt so our prime focus should be on mega projects such as Diamer-Bhasha, Dasu, Bunji, Neelum Jhelum and extension of Tarbela Dam etc. If we were to rely on small hydel projects only then we might need 10,000 machai hydel projects to overcome loadshedding in Pakistan, that's how insignificant it is at national level. But every MW counts and it would surely save us good amount in national exchequer.

Any contribution is welcome and I personally don't like spending time and effort to identify the deserving government for due credit but since PTI Leader has talked about it in that video, I just want to know how does it make sense to give the credit to present K-P government? Oh yes they thankfully did not stop the project, perhaps?

If you read the history of these projects you come to know that the feasibility study was conducted back in early 2000s, ADB funded these projects in 2009 and the construction work began in 2010 and was due to be completed in 2013. The projects got delayed as usual but the major work had already been completed before the K-P government tookover. It doesn't matter about the due date anyway as the projects were being funded by ADB and little contributions were made from the KPK government's resources.

There has been 15-20 small hydel power projects initiated during the PPP government and completed in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. There are more under construction projects due to be completed in 2016 and 2017. But these projects only takes a headline for a day since they are contributing little to National economy. We tend to ignore projects generating electricity below 20MW with water reserves of few thousand acre feet of land in agriculture friendly nation of Pakistan.

so according to your logic pakistan china corridor credit does to Zardari in his tenure Karakoram highway re modeling was started ,, secondly Diamir basha Dam will remain a dream

you can say ANP did a good job unlike pmln and pti. So stop heart thumping for PTI , it has zero performance in power sector , KP govt has allocated just 3 billion pkr for power projects while Punjab govt has allocated more than 100 billion pkr for power projects, while federal govt hs allocated 250 billion pkr . You can see the priority , kp govt has no priority for power generation .

KPK govt priority is education with its limited budget and micro hydro projects are very common in kpk ,, almost every remote village owns its own hydro plants of different capacity same is in GB

KP govt has less allocation as a percentage of budget compared to Punjab , now come to smaller dams , with 3 billion PKr allocation how many you can built.

One of the better things that the PTI government in KP has done is to give a new push to microhydel power generation schemes.

Most recently, their attempts to pursue the Gorkin Matiltan hydropower project (84MW) in Swat has met with resistance in the Central Development Working Party, a government department tasked with approving projects whose cost is less than Rs3bn.

Members of the CDWP, which is run by the PML-N federal government
, say the project cost is too high, and that the cost of the electricity it will generate is also too high for a hydel project. They compare this project with another one in KP which was completed at slightly below the cost of Gorkin Matiltan.

In return, the PML-N government, which never raised concerns about the cost of generation from the Nandipur project, is obstructing the scheme, arguing its costs are too high.
Again, it is hard not to see this as obstructionist politics standing in the way of reviving a promising vision, and innovative approaches, to solving Pakistan’s power crisis.

PTI will surely implement all its hydel policy when came in federal rite now we are having dumb *** people sitting in federal government who have no issue in spending 50 billion on a metro bus but have high concerns over hydro projects lol

Han jee app k phupa jee pasey deyain gay . seriously someone people are so stupid that i think we deserve the situation we are in .
Hahahah, 50,000 MW hydro is feasable yet these PTI idiots are targeting 6 MW dams for point scoring against PML-N.

Jahil jahil PTI

Imran Khan got the best team in Pakistan but unfortunately he is not a traditional politican who can keep telling lies with confidence.

Aqal krni chahiye ab Pakistan specially hum punjabion ko.

how much money punjab have to make their budget? and how much federal have and how much KPK have . EXACTLY
how dumb u people are is what make me mad at u . how can u give numbers that federal spend 250 which have budget of 4,5 trillion .

And then people cry why goverments only bother with short term projects, this is perfect exemple of potis claiming hard work of ANP gov.

As a percentage of whole budget least is the allocation of KPK govt for power sector i.e 3 billion PKr , I am not here to teach or give you all the figures , search yourself , Punjab govts allocation is 100 billion PKR out of 1200 billion budget , while KPK has allocated 3 billion out of 488 billion Pkr which is 0.6 per cent of the budget bascially it means zero.

before this govt there was load shedding fot 14 -16 hours average per day while after two years now load shedding is 6- 8 hours . It is good going as power generation is increased from 13000 to 16500 mwatts .

After 18th ammendment PTI kp govt is free to go ahead with power projects . It is lame excues ot failure by kp govt .

while after two years now load shedding is 6- 8 hours .
Dude which gaga land do you live in? Khuda ka khouff tou ata nai? Even in roza?

Aaj bhi utna hi load shedding hori hai...I can tell you live from Pindi to S.of Punjab!

Did you even bother listening to the video?
