This is not a new sekrut yakhni. Know it was never done but it should not have taken so long by PTI to pass this resolution...

Its more of a common sense....

Wonder when common sense will hit other provinces :coffee:

Thats a very good step. We can say why it took so long but its a great step as many hospitals dont treat their patients on the basis of formalities. Human life is above paper work and thats a very good step. The problem always is implementation. I have heard that the online FIR system has not been followed properly by the police so i hope that is rectified quickly and hope this is also implemented strictly so that all hospitals follow it.

Amazingly rather than a provincial law it should be made a federal law for the entire country to follow.

This is not just a resolution, but part of the health policy law.. lets see when its debate is over and it become proper law.

that is not true. when you file an online FIR, you get a reference number and details, get it print and take it to the SHO of the area, he is bound to response to it, if he doesnt, you SMS complain directly to IG Nasir Durrani and within 24 hours, his assistant will call you back and by then the SHO would be fixed to do their duty.

True. It is part of a cohesive strategy. However, this part alone should have been passed within the first six months. I mean didn't people lose their loved ones just because this policy was not passed...?

ofcourse, it should have been. but never too late for a step in right direction.

Right....

I really think "real" technocrats within PTI and outside will perform way better than the traditional politicians...
Pakistan needs new direction. That means new brains....

Anyways, never too late...

It's not something new, IIRC, Decade or so ago, Supreme court ruled that wounded would be treated first and all federal and provincial hospitals do provide treatment to gunshot wounds first and then register the FIR. It's not something particular to KPK or being done first

Yes, another part of the law is to declare 3 hospitals of Peshawar as autonomous bodies, which will put technocrats, in this case the doctors, in-charge of the hospitals.. with no bureaucratic shit involved, either the doctors will perform or **** up big time, but for that independent ehtasaab commission is already in place... and by 4-5 months, Iam sure we will be taking about corruption scams this commission will unearth..

This is more of a very long term goal but I think strength of a productive country lies in...how many people are "fixed" before going to the hospital....Not how many patients are treated annually...

By that, I mean, educating people of healthy lifestyle...giving resources such as community gyms/facilities for women...encouraging people to eat healthy....

This, in turn, will significantly ease the burden for the government in the long term...

that I dont know about, but this doesnt happen unless emergency is declared already... otherwise, pehlay sign karo phir koe treatment.. this is how it works in hospitals.
