So my friend majority of Indians like what their media says about Pakistan.

A worst majority with huge numbers of poverty that cant manage food .Forget about TV.
If you add TV appliances in that criteria we South Indians will outnumber them.

More than a billion ppl and millions of problems... We are aware of it and insha'Allah we will overcome slowly but surely. These days every election has a large voter turnout. People have voted back to power election after election those Governments which performed and voted out the corrupt mercilessly. There is sense of pride and aspiration among urban middleclass and hope among poor. We have been sending clear message to political class that perform or perish.

@Screambowl that's what we have been saying, he seems to be a reasonable person with sensible right attitude and approach.

India is the only nuclear state which shows herself as softpower. The term softpower, is a disguise. Although it helps the foreign policy of India, and getting us good arms and business deals but there are drawback too.

Some draw backs are more threat oriented:

1)Enemies of India repeatedly strike back and say, do whatever you can , we will strike you again and again.

2)Image of citizens of India becomes soft target.

3)A country goes by the book all time means failure of influence and hence less control over i'S neighbours.

4)Citizens feel less motivated hence indiscipline in their own territory

5) Never gains a territory, or colony, or an ally.

It should be mixture of both softpower and aggressive power.

He has long maintained that India must take China more seriously than it is now. The minister suggested that the ‘Pakistan obsession’ is fuelled by media coverage, saying, “We should not jump (in response to TV debates). TV debates are not taking India to the right place.”
