Saudi religious establishment has good understanding of Islam and Saudi state has done a lot to spread teaching of Islam, but the rulers of Saudi Arabia don't seek guidance from Allah or Islam when it comes to political/social decisions. Not that other Muslim nations do, either. However, I expect better from all Muslims.
