My friend, even in countries like Australia who hammer on about how free they are, their media is tightly controlled. The media is FREE ONLY ON PAPER. They are just a liability nothing else. Fazul ur Rehman and CO. has started taking too much interest in politics which is not their primary utility.

I see that Pakistan is moving towards Putin-ism (it would be a good thing in long run) where the hard-core nationalists and security establishment approved politicians will run the economy, foreign policy and domestic politics.

We need economic muscle and strong nationalist leadership (which dynastic rulers can't provide) so Pak can take on India after US withdrawal from Afghanistan.
