Why would the Taliban even attempt to take American territory ? The Taliban ruled from 1996 to 2001 with the permission of the American government and in 2021 it was brought in power again with the permission and help of NATO.

Yes the war strategy of Russian is quite brilliant so far. Simply disconnect Ukraine from the outside world so they won't get any help from the neo Nazi masters in the form of ammo,food and soldiers etc. They blocked the sea,destroyed airfields so far. Now the only help to Ukraine is coming from polish border. Once the Russian army will reach near polish border that too will be gone.

The USA used Afghan as a place to wash money, it was only made to be perpetual, not winnable. We had the capabilities to eliminate all Talibs and really do some nation-building. Good thing we didn't, the Afghan people are the good guys and deserve the freedom they rightfully got, let's hope for peace for now and we shouldn't repeat it in Ukraine with Neon Yahtzee's.

I don't have to let you know, you can see it on the news...maybe it be like Russia's Afghanistan again, you know where the Mujahadeen kicked the Russians out without having to take any Russian territory.

In what way will America be weaker?? Putin just strengthened the resolve of Nato, and they are more united than ever. Hey may have pushed Finland into the NATO fold as well, now Russia has to deal with being surrounded by more NATO countries right at his doorstep while his economy crumbles. Where will they find the money for new tanks, ships, missiles, they have to indigenize production of critical electronic components/chips. That will take time.

Putin would have gotten everything if he did not actually start the invasion and just saber rattled to extract concessions from Ukraine. He has made himself look like a foot. Even Russian generals have warned against this fiasco before the invasion.

But Russia won’t reach the Polish border. They only conquered some areas close to Kiev and Kharkiv, and were a bit more successful in the south. But from Kiev to Polish border is over 500 kilometers. Their logistics is already a disaster, and conquering 1000’s of square miles of Ukraine? No way.
Sorry to say, but Russia can’t win this war anymore. They’ve lost momentum, Ukraine is united, and gets lots of help. And the “mighty” Russian army is doomed.
