SIALKOT (Web Desk) – Defence Minster Khawaja Asif revealed that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would return to Pakistan within one and a half month after undergoing treatment in London, Samaa TV reported.

He said this while addressing the convocation of a Medical College in Sialkot here on Saturday.

Asif said that PM Sharif would inaugurate Sialkot-Lahore Motorway after returning to Pakistan.

The minister stressed the need for introducing advanced medical technologies in medical colleges to bring them at par with the international standard.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is in London for his routine medical check-up these days, which was repeatedly postponed due to his official engagements over the past few months.

Sources in the PML-N said that the prime minister, in addition to the medical check-up, would spend time with his children at his London residence.

According to sources, PM Nawaz was suggested to spend a week away from the hustle-bustle of the capital, just to relives his stress and anxiety following the Panama Leaks.

Yea, you need to improve medical facilities so that PM of Pakistan can at least do his "ROUTINE medical check ups" in the country...If he thinks they are upsy daisy enough for the people...he being the people should also utilize them for something as simple as routine check ups!

routine medical check-up these days

A routine medical check up, otherwise known as an annual physical checkup, for a male these days is:

Head and Neck Exam. Opening up and saying "ah" shows off your throat and tonsils. The quality of your teeth and gums also provides information about your overall health. Ears, nose, sinuses, eyes, lymph nodes, thyroid, and carotidarteries may also be examined.

Abdominal Exam. Your doctor can use a range of examination techniques including tapping yourabdomen to detect liver size and presence of abdominal fluid, listening for bowel sounds with a stethoscope, and palpating for tenderness.

Neurological Exam. Nerves, muscle strength, reflexes, balance, and mental state may be assessed.

Dermatological Exam. Skin and nail findings could indicate a dermatological problem or disease somewhere else in the body.

Extremities Exam. Your doctor will look for physical and sensory changes. Pulses can be checked in your arms and legs. Examining joints can assess for abnormalities.

An annual physical exam for men might also include:
  • Testicular exam: A doctor can check each testicle for lumps, tenderness, or changes in size. Most men with testicular cancernotice a growth before seeing a doctor.
  • Hernia exam: The famous "turn your head and cough" checks for aweakness in the abdominal wall between the intestines and scrotum.
  • Penis exam: A doctor might notice evidence of sexually transmitted infections such as warts or ulcers on the penis.
  • Prostate exam: Inserting a finger in the rectum lets a doctor feel the prostate for its size and any suspicious areas.

So, Pakistan doesn't have doctors who can grab his scrotum and tell him to cough?

Its a joke of the highest order thatcthr pm of Pakistan would happily visit London for a ROUTINE check up citing the medical facilities in Pakistan aren't good enough. Oh Bhai you were elected as the pm of Pakistan so that you could bring medical facilities on par with international facilities by developing medical capabilities, researches and equipment. This is beyond pathetic and frankly disgusting.

So they thought about this when PM got beemar Hassan Nisar ne bari achi baat ki hai wese "Ke agar Schools, Colleges, University's ko safe rkhna hai to in sb ameeron ke ek ek bache ko in mein parhne ke liye daal do kbhi koi attack ni hoga" wohi haal hamare hospitals/colleges ka hai jb tak koi bara admi beemar ni hota inko ye sb thk krne ki fikar ni hoti :)

Where should a common Pakistani go for these exams ?
Isn't he should be given same or at least 10th part of money that chief exactive is using for this normal examination ?
Why should not be same amount of holidays for normal Pakistani govt servant ?
Should a man so sick, be head of a country. There's no other a bit healthy man in whole noon league ?

Pakistani doctor's should be able to do all that. Not sure about the very last exam. He might prefer a British for that.

Days of fooling people over most silly excuses are almost at an end...almost since there still are some pretty amazingly ignorant people who actually will believe these ministers if they had said NS went to mars.

.
Who the fvck is this Noora league kidding? Stealing people's money and going abroad for a medical checkup? Only in Pakistan I'm afraid. Had this been some other place, this corrupt bald head would have begged for mercy.

To @Akheilos @Dalit and all sensible people here.

Political leaders are a reflection of society. They are not descended from heavens.

This political sickness is a reflection of the sickness of our society. All the ills we count in Sharif and Zardari are our ills too. We lie, we dont weigh to the correct weight, we sell spurious drugs, we bribe, we promise one thing and do something else. We do all of this in our everyday life and much more.

A political leader is an epitome of good or evil in our society. To be frank, evil outweighs good in our society right now. Thus Sharif, Zardari and Altaf are the face of this country while honest people like Imran Khan struggle even with the best credentials to be the leader.

Tell me the truth. Do you not see in Pakistan in everyday life, honest people struggling to make ends meet while biggest crooks enjoying the best of life? This is how f*cked up our society and its morality is and this is what is truly reflected in our political class.

.
Man, I bet if someone does the maths, Mr Sharif has spent more time outside his country than any PM ever. What kind of health examination takes 1.5 months? He's blatantly just hiding out till the storm calms down.

.
It is a shame for our country that our PM has to go to London for medical exam. According to my limited knowledge Shafa International hospital in Islamabad and Aga Khan hospital in Karachi are the best in Pakistan. Besides CMH all over the country are also very good. Our PM can afford a medical exam at these hospitals.

.
And yet this nation continues to not only defend but vote such people to Power. It is a good thing Sharif went to UK for checkup. Why should he do it in Pakistan when he can simply go to UK for that and knows who dare will question him. He is well aware that this nor any Panama leaks will effect his voter bank, they are intact. So why not. for Mr Sharif and a:tdown:for this nation.

Well put !

Nawaz Sharif is exactly the leader Pakistanis deserve.

India's excuse for misery is poverty. Pakistan's is hatred. Both have to learn to stop making these excuses to realize their respective potential.
