He's a troll and thinks he can speak for Punjabi Sikhs or for any population for that matter. Although Khalistan is likely alive in Indian Punjabis to a small extent, it is highly unlikely to become a big issue anytime soon unless Kashmir is given freedom from both India and Pakistan.

I dont see either scenario happening in the near future....

Similar to Independent Kashmir, Khalistan as a concept would fail from its inception....

A country thats landlocked, that depends on everything from access to the sea to oil on two countries that are hostile to each other will end up becoming a playground for "puppet control" between India and Pak...
As far as "self determination" is concerned....the State of Khalistan will probably be more dependent than independent....In theory it sounds like a very utopian concept....But I dont buy it...

But it makes for a great thread on PDF to get the Pakistanis riled up as can be seen from Mr. Roadrunner here who doesnt seem to know his a$$ from his elbow....

The truth is tht Khalistan issue is in "Hibernation" and it just needs a little spark.

It's not going to happen. A large part of Khalistan's support comes from the Punjabi Diaspora and Indian Punjab really has no reason at the moment to seek a separate state.

Pakistan has too many of its own internal problems and the Kashmir conflict to focus on. It shouldn't bother trying to spark anything out of a dormant and nearly "dead" movement.

it's not a conspiracy theory. the march really did happen, thousands of sikhs attended. they support self determination. they're not allowed to do this in india.

It will effect Pakistan whether its supporters in Pakistan believe it or not. Lahore was the heart and soul of the Punjab region and a "true" Khalistani supporter would want the entirety of Pakistan Punjab as well.

Why do you act like you know specifically what Khalistanis want? When will you get it through your thick skull that in the long run Khalistan is about rejoining the greater Punjab region with Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs co-existing in piece? Khalistanis don't care if Lahore and Pakistan Punjab has a small Sikh population.

Also, they don't want conquest like the Sikh Empire or self-determination as you see it. They want their homeland returned to how it originally was. Pakistan Punjab is their home as much as Indian Punjab is.
