I don't want to start a pointless discussion, let alone in this thread, but it could probably have something to do with which countries/people he saw as natural/historical allies of Pakistan and Pakistanis and this probably did not sit well among certain people. I hope that I did not disclose too much by writing what I wrote. From personal experience, I have noticed, that legitimate criticism of a certain nation, is met with opposition, let me call it that.
