the problem is that you have deluded yourself into believing you have the support of the middle class. at the hight of the IAC movement they did not get more then 20 lac people who came out to support them . (a lot of them were anti congress, bjp supporters) who deserted the IAC as soon as it was obvious that kejriwal was targeting them too.


the average middle class voter does not care for kejriwals brand of politics, the only worry about how the economy will affect them . and in this respect the AAP is a bunch of looser.

What else can you expect from that MoMo whose election campaign slogans go as "chappan inch ki chati" (not kidding!). Given his RSS its tent shorts, he could very well have said chappan inch ki chaddi

The crux of AK's allegations that thousands of hectares of land were given at low rents have been rubbished saying that those lands have been given on a BOT basis of 30 years and the entire developed land would be returned to the state govt after 30 years and they would be worth much more thus making up for the alleged shortfall in rents.

Since all the figures that AK quoted were from CAG's audits, surely gujarat CAG has no clue how to calculate asset values. May be Modi and his ministers can suggest values to CAG?

Why isnt the AAP contesting in Gujarat. Maybe Kejriwal can also stand in the Maninagar constituency. Atleast give a symbollic fight to Modi.

And nowadays even the media is tired of the exposes. The anti Modi expose was hidden in the inner pages of ToI which the most Anti Modi newspaper. It is clear their is no substance in the allegation.

Kejriwal should read the story of the boy who called wolf too often after a while people just ignore you

Raad it again brihaspathi - the short fall in the rent would be made up by the manifold increase in the land property rates because of the development by the adani group which would then be handed over to the Govt.

Its like Govt is now renting out a 1000 per hectare land at 3rs for 30 years and would be getting back land worth 100,000 per.hectare land from them thus making up for the alleged shortfall in rents.

But I guess such simple things escaped the processing system of the mango men.

He is here to reach people (TRPs, marketing, rural rallies), to win votes and change the system from within. And thats exactly what hes been doing through all those examples you cite. He is not here to chase perhaps 10 cases in Supreme Court all his life, by which time congress and BJP would have produced a 1000 more.

Have they even collected 1-2 lakh people for there rally?? Just by being on TV doesn't assure success in elections or else all top bollywood stars would have been running for LS.

Those bollywood stars sell like hot cakes during election time - for the highest bidder - from TN to Delhi.
And, BTW, do you know the vote share of BJP in last general elections - 18% (and cong 28%). In comparison, % of non-voters (some of whom are cynical of all politicians and never vote) is much greater than you would imagine. Read:
