NEW DELHI: Kashmirs are observing Indias Independence Day as Black Day against New Delhis occupation today (Thursday).
A complete strike is being observed in Kashmir valley with occupied forces patrolling the streets. Strict security arrangements were made on the occasion of Indias Independence Day.
The strike call was given by the All Parties Huryat Conference. Kashmiri leaders Mir Waiz Umar Farooq, veteran leader Sayed Ali Gilani and others would address different rallies against Indian atrocities.
People in Azad Kashmir are also observing the Indian Independence Day as Black Day and business activities in Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Neelum Valley remained closed
