- Dogra rule followed the Sikh rule after 1846 to 1947, both these were marked by a brutal exploitation of Kashmiri muslims and a privileged life of Kashmiri pandits Muslims were taxed unfairly and often harassed.
- The dogra ruler Ranbir singh drowned famine stricken Muslims by drowning them, Pandits benefitted from this famine as we will see in this thread
- Begar :- A system of slavery which forced muslims to often sacrifice their lives in extremely harsh climates and terrains with almost no renumeration Those who protested got killed and many muslims had to forcefully leave Kashmir, which benefitted Pandit landlords
- Pandits often got exemptions from cruel taxes levied on muslims and got special privileges
- Muslims were banned from cow slaughter, the rulers interfered in muslim practices and killed them without a justifiable reason, this is seen in modern hindutva as well
- Muslim cultivators had been pressed down to the status of coolies, Pandits devised various tactics to enhance their privileges The entire revenue system was Kashmiri pandits
- A shrewd Pandit showed no mercy to Muslims during the famine in 1877-79, almost no Pandit lost his life, these oppressors humiliated cultivators who could not pay their revenues
- The communo-fascist rule of Pandits speculated high revenues from Muslims but spared their kin, food control system meant no markets existed as such
- As I said before, the Begar slavery made muslims fear for their lives. The cruel Pandits made big profits from this misery and exploitation of muslims
- Muslim cultivators were forced to pay Rasum to Pandits and also to Dharmarth trust fund
- Chakdari system was another system by which Pandits acquired vast amounts of land
- When Kashmiri pandits had to compete with Muslims (who organized themselves after Sheikh Abdullah) and Punjabi hindus, they started waging ideological war against both of them, calling themselves victims of Muslims AKA playing the Brahminical victim card
- When Muslims demanded reservations for their backwardness, the Pandits called it communalism Brahmins do this everywhere, for us Brahmins nationalism only means that which benefits us, they say all justice to the marginalized is communal politics, but not their own politics
- Kashmiri pandits started forging history as their dominance was questioned by the National conference, although Abdullah gave them 10% reservation, they deemed him a communal politician Pandits delegitimized Sheikh Abdullah infront of Mirzai by calling him an Ahmaddiya qadiani
- They focused on his Ahmaddiya identity to get Muslims to stop supporting him, Kashmiri muslims even during their protests againsts dogras PROTECTED the Pandits, but privilege is a strong drug for them
- Sanghis will tell you Kashmiri movement is communal, that is fake, while Abdullah asserted his Muslim identity against oppression, he always wanted non muslim in the National conference
