In the first war Pakistan had nothing but still took
on india and took a big chunk of Kashmir, opening up a land route to China and blocking off india from Afghanistan, central asia and beyond all whilst having meager resources


In 1965 Pakistan was the far better force, faired better in Kashmir with a better trained military, india panicked and attacked Lahore to try and stop its impending defeat in Kashmir and got thousands of its soldiers killed

in 71 india involved itself in a civil war in Bangladesh

1999 again you tried in Kargil, it was then your Musharaff went crying to nawaz sharif to make USA broker ceasefire.

not to forget we got Rann of kutch,sir creek and Siachen with us still.

We will wait to see how long you can stay with the implosions going in Pakistan right now,with TTP and ISIS koncking on your doors.

Can any sane Pakistani think that it is possible for any Indian govt. to give away Kashmir to Pakistan?

ask yourself, you know the answer is no.

So what do you want as solution? Apart from converting LOC to IB there is no other feasible solution.

I think the GOI should tell Pakistan clearly that Kashmir can not be given to Pakistan (voting or no voting). No govt. in Indian can ever give Kashmir away to Pakistan. It's not about the govt. The people of India, won't accept it ever.

So when Pakistan has accepted that only then it should come for a dialogue with India.

GOI should say no to any dialogue with Pak on Kashmir, its useless and waste of time.

Pakistan is very stubborn, the only thing it wants is India to give Kashmir to Pakistan. Pakistan is not ready to compromise. Obviously this demand of Pakistan can and will never be fulfilled. So what's the point of going over the same discussions again and again. If Pakistan is not willing to change, then sorry there is nothing India can do in it.

Kashmir is as important to India, as Delhi. So giving it away is never an option.

So do Pakistan have any other solution, other then asking India to hand it over to Pakistan???? If yes then please suggest. If no then whats the point of uselessly asking India for pointless discussions?

1) Saperate Laddakh and other area from Kashmir.It will merge with India.
2) So far as Muslim area is concern, let us give an option to Azad Kashmir and IOK muslims to decide with whom they want to live with.
3) Distribute the area of Kashmir (Minus laddakh) in proportion to vote share each country get.
4) Those who want to live with Pakistan will go to the Pakistani side of Kashmir and who want to live with India will go to Indian side.
5) this distributed are shall be converted into International border.

Easier said then done,Seeing the current situation in Pakistan,the political crisis,the insurgency in Balochistan & Sindh,the Isalmic Extremism,Talibanization,Sectarian & Ethnic voilence,poor law & order, it will be extremely difficult for Pakistan to come out of Abyss. The recent bomb Blasts on Wagah border is a testimony to what I am writing.On the economic front,Pakistan had done very badly,What is your forex reserves,your GDP. Let me know how much foreign Investment has Pakistan attracted in the last 5 years. In such a scenario who will invest.

Even if the kashmir issue is solved,I don't think the militants will lay their guns. First u solve the insurgency in Balochistan which has has been going from 1947,talking of Peace in south Asia. Every week there is a bomb blasts in your country.The militants & extremists whom Pakistan has supported for some administrative depth in Kashmir & Afghanistan are paying u dearly.
