Let us be honest here…There are two sides of the story.
- During 1985-2014, It was an unbelievable fact that you will even find a single person or families in downtown of Srinagar to say they are proud Indian even of there are more number of security forces were present and enough number of Govt employees and people are there who can be threatened or coerced. But did you ever think, why there are so many positive vibes coming out of the valley even if we assume all people are coerced?

If you can not use your strength at the right time when your so called Kashmiri people need it, then how come you expect Kashmiri will trust you and your words.

So there is a tectonic change the way separatist perceived Pakistan since 2019. That process enabled India to gain ground in giving an options to the people to come and join mainstream.

At the end of the day, there are tons of people who are tired of endless violence since generation.So slowly,even if in small numbers, those segments of people started joining mainstream which is visible in social media today.

I was never pro IK, I was literally abused out of the forum during the PTI era.

Repeal of 370 has done well for Kashmir.
To prove it’s point the Central government has tried to infuse a lot of money by way of creating infrastructure and trade in Kashmir. It takes a long time for these measures to have impact on the ground. But it seems to have yielded results very fast.
Atleast the tourism sector has indicated that things are much better than some people might want to accept. Other aspect of economy would pick up pace over the next few years and the demons of the past would be put in grave forever.
