If he boycotted elections then he should keep quiet till next elections. Don't you think that due to his boycott, PPP was able to form govt. in federal and PML-N in Punjab? From the very beginning he was calling both of them corrupt then he joined them in UK, why?

hmm.... so that is the reason he is not giving any ideas as he is afraid that the same will be copied again? What if someone else copied his ideas? Btw... what benefit awaam has got so far from his ideas of sasti roti and restoration of CJ?

well he was back stabbed by MQM,PPP & PML! all had decided to boycott elections under a dicatator!! but then all are corrupt so they joined! & PML,PPP & MQM formed government! MQM also became ally!

& benefits of sasti roti!! people got sasti roti!! and restoration of CJ alot of pending cases which were pending for 10 10 years have be solved and justice provided!! he thinks for the common man not for one specific area or community!! did you see how succesful his dharna was in karachi???

TO BRING INQUILAB you need to mobilise people slowly steadily!! you can't bring inquilab against yourself(if you are in government)!!!!

& if you can give MQM,PPP,PML & ANP a chance again and again what is the harm in giving him a chance once??

atleast we have seen IMRAN KHAN being offered PRIME MINISTERSHIP by MUSHARRAF he declined!! because he said sorry won't compromise on asool! and trust me his popularity has increased!! i hated him thought he was dumb till 2006 now i atleast listen to him! he is running shukat-khanam for years he gets billions of ruppess every year to run it has even one corruption scandal come up?? he does AUDIT for the hospital from the biggest international audit company!

Their voters vote them so they should come into power and do something for the benefits of its own people. Those benefits can only be achieved if any party is in Govt. by sitting in opposition you can just blabber in TV talk shows. So there is always a threat to the govt. that if they will not act as per desires of its coalition partner, they will lose their support.

Whatever MQM has done for Karachi has been outdone by the target killings and gang wars that have started with the existence of MQM.

Rest I leave it to the people of Karachi as its their choice whom to vote in. But like I said it before that with MQM's presence in Karachi, you folks will have to learn to live with these gang wars.

Personally I am not against IK, he is the only person having clean history... he did not get a chance that might be the reason, but lets not to be speculative. Lets wait if his popularity really turn out to be fruitful at the time of elections. As people of Pakistan has very short term memory, there are very possible chances that they may elect the same faces again. So we need to work on increasing the 'turnout' of elections which presently is around 32 to 35%, If that is increased to at least 65% to 70%, the govt. formed consequent thereof will be the true representative of Nation.

Apart from gang war, we the karachiites face snatching on gunpoint. They usually kill anyone with a simple resistance. I am of strong opinion that shoot at sight orders be given to the forces for a person holding weapon in his hand.

All the political parties and their stalwarts of Pakistan are the product of the loins of the establishment and agencies, and since these too are also fed up of all the raucous rhetoric of these 'rotten eggs', mentioned by you, then its time that a new egg is laid. Hopefully this time around the parents will take better care of their baby and not let it become another Altaf or Nawaz, one being adopted by RAW and the other by Extremist Mullas.

To answer your 2nd point of choosing atleast one SOB no matter what, or else a dictator will come, I'd like to qoute a self explanatory maxim of Voltaire on popular government. 'I'd rather be ruled by one lion than be ruled by a hundred rats'. Go figure.

To your last point, MQM didn't raise their voice against anything, other than hurdles put forward to supress their brazen extortion, and 'bhata-business' they only provided LIP SERVICE against waderas and feudalism. They have become the biggest and most powerful wadera as of now. At least the Sindhi s, Panjabis, Baluchis, and Pathans don't kill their own clansmen, MQM ki badmashi tou chalti hi Urdu speaking per hey! They have literally taken Karachi city hostage.

Now see, this is the prime disagreement between us, you guys continue to blame MQM for target killings where as 80% of the deceased in those attacks are urdu speaking Karachiites so unless MQM is out to kill Karachiites it must be the victim.

And why was there hardly any such violence in Karachi throughout the period of 2001-2007 (before PPP and PML formed Govt.)? Do any of you even realize that there is a lot more violence when someone wants to blackmail MQM? Don't you guys realize that there is hardly any violence when MQM is in power. Why don't you realize that the only real way to penalize MQM and to blackmail them is to destabilize Karachi? How else can MQM be blackmailed????

AH is adapted by RAW so by extension all MQM followers/supporters must be RAW agents by proxy? Is that what you have tried to imply in your post? Furthermore if what you have so matter of factly stated about MQM's alleged atrocities on Urdu Speaking Karachiites is considered to be of the slightest bit of merit then a huge majority of the residents of Karachi must be out of their minds for continuous voting them back to power!

So either we are traitors (RAW agents) or rather stupid. Unless we are very stupid traitors . Dude all I can say is that in my lifetime Karachi has never been served better by any other force political/judicial/bureaucratic/military or otherwise. None can even be compared to MQM's service to Karachi. That said, I will agree that MQM, too, leaves a lot to be desired but to blame it for everything is just plain foolish or deliberate lies.

My friend I have continuously repeated the same thing that I will post yet again --> All political parties in power (namely PML/PPP) blackmail MQM by destabilizing Karachi to woo them back in power whenever MQM wants to sit in the opposition. Give that a chance and perhaps a lot of other things will clear up.

Also to point out bro, 1995 was the worst period in Karachi's history and it was due to the military operation against MQM unleashed by alternate govt.'s of PPP & PML. MQM got their fair share of representation and power in 2002 under Musharraf Govt. and anything before that was plain gameplay by our beloved politically elected Governments!
