Btw it's not just a mafia war in which cadres of these organisations are dying, mostly it's common people dying some times for as little as a couple of thousand worth mobile.

A better solution would be to deprive Karachi of its status as Economic hub of Pakistan and shift that Status to another coastal city like Gwadar, and then implement a strict curfew throughout the entire city, anyone caught with any kind of illegal firearm and narcotics to be arrested and executed, and any political parties found to be involved with gangs and other criminal organizations to be dissolved with their leaderships put under arrest and tried under military courts.

I have stated it many times and I will repeat that Karachi should be weapon free zone, depoliticized police like KP or Motorway police. and if possible it should be declared a non political State territory with a mayor to represent the city of Karachi in the parliament.

upto some extend the things are fairly normal... pmln is doing according to its limited capacity and vision, its not enough, but atleast things are normal for the time being, do you see it that way?

The only solution is to:

1). Deprive the city of its importance as financial center.

2). Divide the city into different sections for areas of operation and military control.

3). Implement curfew and enforce curfew by brute force throughout the city. Anyone caught outside after 10 PM must be arrested and documented (finger prints taken, photo taken, etc).

4). Anyone caught with illegal firearm and narcotics must be arrested and executed.

5). Any political parties found to be involved with gangs and other criminal organizations must be dissolved with their leaderships put under arrest and tried under military courts.

No I don't, they are treating cancer with aspirin. Things are not improving on the ground, stronger action is required, police has been infiltrated it needs to be cleaned or completely reconstituted maybe and people caught need to be prosecuted and murderers seen hung. I haven't seen a single criminal receiving punishment.

develop new Karachi some 60-100 miles away from the existing one and/or Gwadar as well and shift some load to the new places. in that way these new places would take the burden off the Karachi...rather than to deprive Karachi of its eco status.

It retained the status during the previous operation and it can retain it now and afterwards rise to new heights In sha Allah. The thing is the criminals cannot be allowed to win like this, just like BLA cannot be allowed to compromise the gwadar plans similarly these criminals cannot be allowed to ruin an important city of our country.

a wiser move would be to kill these criminals in police encounters, just like Shebaz sharf did with Jamiyat thugs and so called badmash of lahore in 97, as i believe they have reached to the point of no return, so its good to terminate them..

If need be then yes, we can either care about the human rights of these janwars or the right to live and pursue life dreams of normal folks. I am just amazed at our law enforcement and prosecution machinery. A normal person would be grinded while criminals and murderers are allowed to roam free.
