Just got back from Pakiland. Pindi is even worst than Karachi now. Karachi was relatively better. They have and are ruining Islamabad too. Back in the day, there were no beggars allowed in Islamabad. Police would come and pick them up. Little to No public on foot crossing streets (outside shopping areas). Even in shopping areas like Jinnah super, police will quickly ID people that don’t belong there. It was clean and lot less cluttered.

What do you expect from a city and a country that have been left to rot for over 75 years by the selfish, and crooked leaders?
Until the day we have a top leader who is from the middle class and truely cares for the welfare of the people of Pakistan, nothing will change.

Middle class specially that of Pakistan will produce at best middle tier leaders. Only exception is some who has worked hard, have been overseas, and has experienced a working civil system.

The main curse is mindless breeding like rabbits. Overpopulation is a curse.
People who can't even afford to eat one meal a day have 10 children, while affluent have 1 or 2 kids who eventually go abroad. Out of those 10 children 9 work as labourers, beggers and

well they should change karachi name in to KrachanDhar because entire afghanistan is living in karachi now so they should merg the name of karachi with kandhar .... city is spreading all over without any town planning... corrupt govt machinery can provide you any paper to settled in it majority afghans have pakistani NIC ... i am expecting in few years avalanche of garbage will sweep city in to arabian sea... irony is no body owns Karahi and this is biggest issue

People vote those political parties into power




Parties then have a term of office to fullfil promises



If they fail they get ridiculed and thrown out


If they succeed they get voted back in






In Pakistan they vote for parties and the same idiots decade after decade, PPP, MQM, PMLN,ANP

Then cry about it



I honestly have very limited sympathy for such stupidity

It's still made up of well educated people who are hand to mouth. They do have kids 2 or 3 and they're giving them proper education or atkeast trying too. The younger middle class have come to the conclusion of delaying kids or not marrying at all.

Well, the mullahs who campaign extremely vocally against "Zina" will not stop to ponder that the tens of thousands of places of "piousness" in Pakistan couldn't save two middle class young men from suiciding late last year because they were unemployed and the Capitalist socio-economic system enabled no means for them to provide for themselves and their families. The 75-year-old Capitalist socio-economic system demanded from them that they be wage slaves in the employ of urban feudals in order to avail of even basic human needs like basic food, water, electricity, healthcare, education for their children, telecom, toothpaste and all, and that Capitalist socio-economic system brought to bear on them daily social pressure from their neighbors and relatives "Doosri naukri kyun nahi dhoohd lete ?", people who would distantly pity but not help. Disconnected people. And these two young men were neither rich enough to be part of business people's club networks to be able to engage with financiers or other partners to start a company. They also were not brought up with the notion that they should rebel against this non-empathetic Capitalist system by joining progressive groups and self-help groups. So they were finding no means of getting back into the Capitalist work system to provide the basic necessities to their families much less take them to restaurants and feeling terribly helpless and finding no social support and not being rebellious they became desperate and went to two shopping malls, different ones, and jumping from the higher floors to their death. The well-fed and well-provided mullahs continue to campaign against "Zina".
