How Pashtunistan Died | Page 2First after the OP, right?
I will look into it.
there are 12 alternatives to kalabagh..so crying over kalabagh is nothing but an excuse not to build any dams...
its like child wanting to buy corolla 2013 model when corolla 2014, 2015 are there
few examples are
1. akhori
2.sanjwal
3.rotas
4. bhahsa
5.dok pathan
6. bahtar
other than no. 4 all can be built within 4-5 years due to their location and were proposed as alternatives to kalabagh
i am not even talking about the immense potential up stream bhasha
PS.
noone denies kalabagh importance but i can assure even if there is no opposition on dam , it will not be built as evident from info above
water will be a bigger issue than power sector soon due to lack of interestThese are mostly for water storage, all extra money should be spend on Bhasha Dam at the moment. Hopefully by 2030 Bhasha/Dasu/Bunji is completed. After that Pakistan can look for other big projects including more dams for water storage and maybe consensus can be developed on Kala Bagh dam as well.

This is really unbearable, i can't stand it. What's more annoying is that our politicians, Pakistani politicians speak the same language as him. Someone please kill me(figure of speech), i can't bear this level of incompetence. Someone should tell these incompetent, lazy, corrupt, blood sucking monsters that, this dam will further increase water coming into any province instead of cutting of their provinces water.Plus many other advantages like storage, will be a good way to tackle floods, then there is irrigation of land. So many advantages. I mean this is simply unbearable.@WAJsal A jaahil racist ghusbethya Afghan has declared Kala Bagh Dam harmful for KPK (as if it is more harmful to KPK than Afghan -introduced drugs, weapons, crimes, and terrorism).
Enough said. This dam will only profit each province, i don't see why they are opposing it in anyway. I am coming to a conclusion that they can't see Pakistan developing.“Critics argue that if the dam is built, it would turn Sindh into a desert, but the experts are of the opinion that the province would get additional 4.75 million acre feet of water. Punjab would receive additional 2.04 MAF, Balochistan 1.56 MAF and K-P 2.01 MAF.”
@WAJsal A jaahil racist ghusbethya Afghan has declared Kala Bagh Dam harmful for KPK (as if it is more harmful to KPK than Afghan -introduced drugs, weapons, crimes, and terrorism). Similar ignorant comments have also been made by all those who are against Kala Bagh Dam for one or another reason. I will urge you and those who wish to get acquainted with the issue to go through following interview from ex-Chairman WAPDA Mr. Shams ul Mulk.

@Slav Defence @TankMan @Gufi @Indus Falcon @HRK @Adecypher @Jazzbot @Major Sam @MastanKhan Your feedback will be highly appreciated.
the cost benefir ratio is the same as kalabagh according to official WAPDA documents. e.g for layman..akhori cost 4 billion dollars(600MW) due to lack of associated electric work and transmission while kalabagh cost is unknown but is estimated at 8-9 billion dollars. These are mostly for water storage, all extra money should be spend on Bhasha Dam at the moment. Hopefully by 2030 Bhasha/Dasu/Bunji is completed. After that Pakistan can look for other big projects including more dams for water storage and maybe consensus can be developed on Kala Bagh dam as well.
it is happening , though WAPDA/IRSA says we need 15 MAF ASAP vs 6 MAF of BhashaOnly if Bhasha dam is ignored right now which is not happening. Bhasha dam should be completed by 2025.
