Justice for Zainab: Riots erupt in Kasur after 8-year-old's alleged rape, murder

Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Chairperson Dr Umar Saif the techy brain behind data analysis and many other techniques used so far in Zainab case.
His team enhanced CCTV footage by stacking frames and other methods to come up with an actual picture.
Based on their work,so far 3 arrests have been made. All three arrested have plenty of evidence against them.

A University is forensically matching mobile SIM signal records with the exact time and location of Zainab CCTV footage . They have narrowed it down from 247 suspected SIMs tio just 5 .
The method used is quite sophisticated.

I have heard it only transmits when it tries to establish a new connection.. or when it switches connection between two towers..

I don't know how they are doing it.. but if there is a way, I pray to Allah they get succeeded..

I'm finding it fishy how the statements keep changing .
At first the police had captured a large number of suspects and supposedly they all fit the DNA profile (not even scientifically possible but whatever)
Then supposedly the ISI or some other intelligence agency had caught the killer (dk how theyre even related to the case)
Then the CM announces a prize of 1 cr to anyone who has the identity of the killer (basically establishing the fact that the police has nothing)
Then it was pretty much confirmed that it's one serial killee who has committed all these crimes.
And now 3 profiles supposedly fit the killer (agains wtf)
If I had to take a guess the police has been chasing through smoke.

You point stands only if it was a one of incident.. more than 10 kidnappings and police couldn't do anything? If the responsibility of security only lies with innocent citizens, then why are we spending money on police?

Police is under funded, corrupt and incompetent. If you let your kids go outside alone hoping police will be there then what one can say. Even in western world its forbidden for parents to let kids go alone anywhere.

Something about this incident smells foul play by police. Otherwise the news about the criminal behind bars should have been the first day....people might not recognise quaid e azam. But since a week this guys image is on million minds. And no one knows him... thats the most chilling aspect of this crime..this guy is talented and smart...pedofile have a character of being child loving but disquise the lust . With love.. a skilled investigator is needed to catch these bastered. While our police lack the basic knowledge. Skill.and power.to achieve good results. May god have mercy on us...from the looks of things around us happining. We are moraly. Physcialy.ethecialy. doomed .

What is stopping someone from Kasur to identitfy men in video? They can riot and get killed but not identify men in video.

There has been reform but people expect them to be like FBI with 3rd world budget. Punjab police is must underfunded police in Pakistan as province share in NFC is systematically being reduced by cry babies from other provinces.

I am not saying that parents should let their kids go out alone.. but after one, two or maximum three similar incidents, government shouldn't sit on their lazy @rses.. This culprit (who is one according to DNA analysis) should have long been captured.. but incompetent government didn't pay any attention to the problem..

In the end, government is responsible for the continuation of similar crime, committed by a single person.. Government controls police.. government passes laws to strengthen police, provides them with adequate training and resources, and establishes anti corruption laws..

But what to expect from a corrupt and incompetent government? I have heard that the previous DPO was appointed on the personal approval of Shahbaz Shareef... what a shame...
