Jordan's King Abdullah calls early elections

Frankly, I support a revolution in Jordan if it happens like Egypt or Tunis but not a civil war like Libya or Syria. Or at least it becomes a constitutional monarchy. Its up to Jordanians to decide, although they must take into consideration the fact that Israel might use this opportunity to launch a war.

I am a little shocked, anyway:

Not even MB nor any political party has ever talked about ousting the king, all Jordanians already accept him as the leader, but there are differences in views regarding the constitution, and it was amended to comply with their demands and interests of Jordan, the MB still want more amendments which others don't agree with. Not everything should be done according to them, there are other people living in the country who happen to be the vast majority. Anyway, Jordan is already a constitutional monarchy.

Jordan is a dictatorship like Saudi Arabia. Its only a constitutional monarchy by name. MB are not the only alternatives to the current government. My only criteria for evaluating these things is: will the outcome be better than the curent situation?
Since the Jordanian government is not as bad as the Syrian one, then its not worth civil war, but if democracy could be achieved without bloodshed then everyone should favour that except for the king. I hold the same views on Saudi Arabia.

Dictatorship is terms of what?
Total and utter BS, this doesn't worth a response.

You will find Jordan under Authoritarian Governments.

Authoritarian regimes: In these states political pluralism is absent or heavily circumscribed.
Many countries in this category are outright dictatorships. Some formal institutions of democracy
may exist, but these have little substance. Elections, if they do occur, are not free and fair. There
is disregard for abuses and infringements of civil liberties. Media are typically state-owned
or controlled by groups connected to the ruling regime. There is repression of criticism of the
government and pervasive censorship. There is no independent judiciary.

I have never said Jordan is as democratic as USA or France but it's not as authoritarian as most countries in the ME, we are on the front of Arab world according to your link, this link is as of 2010, and many things have been changed since then. We don't want that kind of democracy. we are content with the unique governance that respect our religion, culture and traditions. For instance, we are against nudity sites which the west considers personal freedom, we are against gay rights...ect. We shouldn't follow them with everything. We have our own character and identity. Nevertheless, I am not saying we are perfect, but comparing our regime with the Syrian or Iranian one is a grand crime man, what was wrong with you!

Anyway, the king is working on these issues and many things have changed.

And Jordan is a constitutional monarchy:

I never compared the Jordanian regime with Syria or Iran!
I agree with you that Saudi Arabia is more authoritarian than Jordan and that we don't need to import our morals from the west. But power corrupts and absolute power absolutely corrupts. Also, there is nothing un-Islamic about giving the power to the people instead of concentrating it in the hands of one person. If you read Omar's speech when he became Khalifa you would know that.
All what I am saying is that if Jordanians want to change the regime and it won't lead to a civil war than I support them. I would say the same thing about Saudi Arabia but I know it will definitely cause civil war and possible break up of the country. Anyway, good luck with your reforms.

I believe in our king, the great grandson of the prophet (SAW) whose grandfather and ancestors had been the trusted custodians of the two holy mosques for centuries. Arabs...:disagree:

the Jordanian government is not as bad as the Syrian one,

That's irrelevant. You judge people by their actions not ancestry.

That's true, but it gives them credit over others. If you ask me or any Sunni whether he is with Mowiya/Yazid or Ali/Hussein, he would absolutely choose Ali/Hussein, why?. Prophet ancestry can't be but blessed. Anyway, I judge him by his actions which have always served Jordanian and Arab interests.

a dictatorship is a country that claims to be a democratic country but don't have honest elections and a corrupt government that only want to be in power and dont give a f**k what their people think and the people are not happy, Examples : Hosni Mubarak government, the old Tunisian government, Assad regime, the Sudanese government,,, all of them claim to be democratic but in reality there are not.

however the Saudi / Jordanian governments never claimed in their history to be a democratic states and the majority of their people are happy, therefore we can't call them dictatorship but we can call them a Constitutional monarchy in the case of Jordan and an Absolute monarchy in the case of Saudi Arabia,,, this is my opinion.

extremist outfits like Muslims Brotherhood and Al Quaida thrive on in-competencies of Arab governments and dictators.
It about time everyone should be looking for reforms rather than blaming israel.

No one is blaming Israel for anything. You are the one who keeps bringing it on every time.

His options are -- Become a Constitutional monarch and live his life with dignity with a lasting legacy with young Jordanians OR wait for his time, to become the next in line to be knocked down by the Arab spring and be chucked into the dustbin of history.
