That's good to hear. Why then would it be considered so daunting for Arab countries to intervene in Syria?
Whenever the idea of Arab intervention comes up, it seems like everyone claims the Syrian military is still intact. Lol.
Launching a full-scale attack on Assad's Syria, without the approval of the UN, is no less than an act of war. We tried to pass two resolutions which disappointingly were vetoed. The US couldn't invade Iraq without seeking an approval from the Security Council, waging a war isn't a picnic, and the under the international laws, the Assad's regime has the right to defend itself.
For now, the only entity we can rely own to secure these chemical weapons is the FSA. They DID storm a few facilities that they thought these places may contain Chemical weapons, but they found nothing. For now, the FSA is acting for the benefits of the Syrian people as well as their outsider friends, they are trying their hardest to secure themselves weapons, and they will continue to do so.
The Israelis are worried about those chemical weapons, and transferring game-changing weapons to Hezbollah, they succeeded to prevent Hezbollah from acquiring sophisticated weapons for their own interests, which aren't primarily to us compared with the WMDs.
True. Plus Jordan probably doesn't have the firepower for such a large scaled operation probably, am I right? More of a defensive force.
Not really, Jordan won't go to war on its own, I'm sure about that.
