JIT stands for joint investigation team , its constituted on order of supreme court , FIA is definitely capable of dealing with civilian issues but there is high probability that FIA head will come under influence of prime minister and will not do proper transparent investigation.

So its better to have each expert from different institute to maintain transparency. Nawaz sharif has tendency to behave like gangster and buy or threat people , so it will be difficult for him to buy all institutions or threat them all.
