Very difficult due to the terrain and landscape of the region.


Pakistan badly needs more helicopters the area is just to vast that is one of the problems.

2-3 major attack were suffered by us started by Salala check post by Americans followed by two attacks by jihadis who infiltrated here and were 60+....
here we suffered alot and PA is very concerned on this...
in these both times PA also informed Afghan authorities about militant gathering....
well we are on it saying that we r using it as strategic tool against someone is not right as they are great prob for us at present time...
chk our green book 2013 major threats are now internal threats.....

Yaar you know how porous is Af-Pak border.

There are many videos on this issue. Except mining the border or use of drones at larger scale, it will be very costly for Pakistan. And even if Pakistan try this, the border villagers will object and may retaliate as they have relatives just across the border.

Drones can play a part for sure but more than that I believe helicopters are vital, the Mi-17V-5 Russian helicopter are rugged and reliable a true work horse that would be well suited for the role.

Pakistan would need political/PA will and HUGE resources (manpower and funds).

It is unlikely Russia would sell the armed version to Pakistan.

In age of technology there's NO USE of these half-***-gorilla-scumbag-morons who think blowing them-self will get reward in life hereafter.. They've made their own people suffer more way more than their enemies

PA helis depends upon US aid....
we just get those what Americans give us free of cost...
condition can't be improved till we change our priorities to depend on any other country for helis....

India does not have the diplomatic clout for something like that, not to mention the political party in charge of Pakistan would have to retaliate or risk losing their power.
