Will the JF-17 with an AESA radar and helmet mounted system and the PL-15 missile will replace the F-16 as the top fighter in the PAF?

The JF-17 with the block 3 package is cheaper to run and is a superior package to the PAF’s F-16 (not the USAF version) so if the block 3 package works (not a given) then yes it will replace the F-16 as the number 1.

What is alarming ? They went mlu and they are doing fine .

There is still juice left in F16s after overhauling. We can use it till 2030.
Even it is possible we purchase more used f16s to fill stop gap until we move to next Gen fighters.

but if we look at the expected package of upcoming block-3 , dont u think its more advanced than F-16 block 52 ?? If yes than dnt u think that JF-17 block-3 should become our front line jet
